Player-to-player transfers on iPoker have been suspended. Affecting rooms across the entire network, the function has reportedly been disabled without further explanation. While network-wide transfers have never been permitted, players were able to make inter-room transfers on sites such as Poker770, Betfair, Titan Poker and Bet365. As yet it's unclear whether this will be a permanent restriction or a temporary measure.

Maybe its a measure againts collusion which happens a lot there and no one is doing anything about it. Its a useful function though for many legit players who want their money transfered fast and without cost like when using online wallets.

I don't really get why they allowed transfers in the first place. It's so open to abuse and would never really be of much benefit to the sites. The only legit use would be for members of forums like this one who want to swap money. But it would be better for the poker company if they had to deposit money to play rather than borrow it from another account. Of course the more likely common use is for players who can't deposit legally, for colluding accounts to even out their winnings and for transfer between duplicate accounts.
I read a statement today from iPoker & they said its only temporarily suspended and that it was suspended for security reasons. That's the only details they gave.
I don't know what the security problem was but they must be trying to fix it before bringing it back. Knowing iPokers software skills, it will be disabled for a few years - lol

Well, iPoker couldn't explain it otherwise, a lot of bad things in poker happen with the sole purpose of preventing money laundering.
Even if your stable doesn't have enough cash in hand to ship it to you via Skrill, it yet has time to withdraw it from the skin and have it in hand on the last day or two. A longterm suspension of P2P would harm stables' cash flow dramatically, no doubt, but in the short term stables should bear Skrill's fees and handle the situation well if they're remotely solvent.

That can only mean one of two things: Either they found someone doing some kind of money laundering through their rooms or they have found some kind of sickness in their system. If, somehow, they would be thinking about quiting and shuting all the system, there wouldn't be any possibility of withdrawing either, and i guess there must have been already lots of players trying to do so also instantly, in the moment they knew about this.
