as the heading says i played in the weekly final,finished about half an hour ago,well there was 307 entrants and i managed to reach the FT,i was in 5/7 and the blinds were 3,000/6,000. i'm in the SB with 10 10 (30,000 in chips) and they all fold to the button who flats so i raise to 18,000 the BB folds and the button who is 2nd in chips foes all in,so naturally i call i show mine and he flips over j-7 off,ffs what!! anyway needless to say by the river he catches hie straight 562 on the flop 8 on the turn and a bloody 9 on the river. what can you do eh,anyway for my 7th position i got 32 GBP which is about $50 not too bad for a weekly freeroll,just i shame my tens never held up as i would have been nicely placed for a really good payout,oh well there's always next week.

About your last hand I think you sould have pushed all-in istead of raising 3BB and leaving 12k behind, even more considering that blinds were 3000/6000 and probably there were antes too.
It seems for your piceture that 30k was not a bad stack at that time. Anyway man congrats again for your winnings.
Being 6th of more than 300 players is always hard and you must know somenthing to reach to any FT.

evening Ronin, yes you are right there i made some cash and that is the main objective, i've already qualified for next weeks so hopefully i can run deep again and maybe beat this weeks run.
hello Plexo, aye you are probably right i should have just shoved i think he would have called anyway as he was 2nd in chip size and had me well covered.

unlucky last hand - yes would he call, if you shoved preflop - probably yes, you were kinda short should you next time shove preflop instead raising - yes, no matter what flop comes, you cant fold anyway

aye Bullet i recognised the name but couldn't remember who he was on here you and Damosk should give this a try as it's only for uk players and 50 a night qualify for the final on sunday,i don't know how long it's running this will be the 3rd week and the payout is good it's in pounds as well which makes it better. see you at the tables.GL

Played last night and bombed out in 56th place. Gutted having hit a really bad run of hands and then even the way the blinds incraesed at the end left me feeling last night wasnt my night. HAve registered for tonight again though and will give it another shot. There were also a couple of other Mobsters there last night.

I was also in that tourney... But I was out early after my pocket jacks had the misfortune of running into the MONSTER that is king deuce. I seem to qualify through the satellite virtually every night. If its the same one I'm thinking of (you win 2 london passes for 1st place) I finished in 3rd the other night when my aces were beat by 99 - all in preflop with almost identical stacks, with small stack on like 3 bbs.... Sucks.
Anyway, I'm in the final again this Sunday, so see you there
