Following a recording of various UltimateBet insiders discussing the site's superuser scandal, America's first regulated card room, Ultimate Poker, has cut its ties with Iovation.
Although unconnected to UB, Iovation was a third-party company owned by former UB executives.
At first Ultimate Poker were happy to use Iovation's identification services because they were preferred choice of Nevada's gaming authority.
However, during the audio recording it was revealed that money from the superuser scandal was used to fund Iovation and that some of its executives were privy to Russ Hamilton's cheating.
In a forum post an Ultimate Poker representative wrote: "Ultimate Poker has discontinued the use of all services from Iovation. We hope this makes our customers feel more comfortable."

New information regarding the inner workings of Absolute Poker and UltimateBet has come to light courtesy of forum poster: "DoOrDoNot".
Speaking to a colleague who used to work for AP and UB, "DoOrDoNot" posted a series of revelations about the company, such as:
The made a payment to the FBI five months before Black Friday.
They paid people in the US and Canada to help process cash through their personal accounts.
The employee believes all the money is gone and that no one will receive anything else back.
It's important to note that this information hasn't been verified, however, it does seem the informant has no affiliation to the company and he has freely given out this information.
