HI Brmrs,
Curently playing the rebuy 60 k (donkfest).....we are almost at the money, 1623 players left , 1530 paid. Am standing in 1133th position atm with 184k stack, average is 344 K just paid my blinds , so I should make it in to the money.... only played 6 hands sofar first was pocket 8's with whom I trippled after flopping a fullhouse after calling a minimum raise and further played 5 times AA and they kept standing every time...... Didnt get aby other hand yet not once AK or AQ...best was AJ wich I folded pre flop as there was an all in by bigger stacks.
so is anyone else still in there???
Good Luck, Mies
OK MADE IT TO THE MONEY....
missed a good chance of trippeling up....folded 55 preflop after all in and call ..they showed AK and AJ...flop A 9 5....Turn 8 River another 5...sick but had to fold as it was around the bubble...
finnished in 1165th place 17 and half dollar...not really much , but it costed me 3 dollar 1 rebuy and add on..so not to bad...was carddead at the end eaten by blinds...

Good stuff mies, always good to make the $$, No point wasting your energy fretting bout missing the set o' 5s, was a good fold in the situation, set mining is all well and good when in there cheap. $17.5 back on $3 sounds good to me, congrats

Hello mies730 and congrats for that good investment, you win almost $15 for that play, wanna ask you if you play from the start or register in last 5mins of late register for play with the add-on (some friends play with that strategy and it worked because they don't waste time and money, just buy-in + one rebuy if is necesary and add-on which means only $3) pass that don't call and triple because you risk to lose that winning, some times i folded with AA on bubble... wish you GL and hope next time you'll play FT

G'day mate
Congratulations on making it into the money. It always sucks to go card dead. It happens to me way to much in tournaments online. Glad you made some money though and hope you continue to build it upward. be cool and best of luck

Posted by Macubaas: Congrats for being ITM, i guess you could have won a lot more but the important thing is that you were on profit after all
Is this tournament played all the time? I ask because i never heard of it before.
Yes this tournament is played every day starts at 20.15 ( on dutch timeline) its 60 k guaranteed and usually pricemoney ccomes close to 100 grand..I play and casch on it on regular bases, if U play a tight hand and luck is n't to much against U , U should be able to cash here.

I alays register from the start, keping my range really small and only play the real top hands (AA KK AK) and that strategy I like most and found me cashing...I take a rebuy straight at the start and If I get a bad beat , I just dnt rebuy, because when I get one badbeat usually more follow. I dont do late registration a sI dont really feel comfortable playing as shortstack.
Thanx To all for congratulating me and hope to see U all on the tables soon,

I also play this tourney from time to time. Both strategies are possible (early and late reg), but normally I do it like mies described. one time I made it somewhat deep into the tourney and won about $45. Still dreaming of a FT

If I make it today, I will also be in this one. Haven´t played this now for some time, so I guess it should be fun. Hopefully the luck is on mobsters side and cards will come our way..
