Hi yout85,
I voted for Zoom NLHE $0.01/$0.02. I think that is the best idea. But may be it will be better if you play one or two zoom tables for 24 hours. 4 Zoom tables playing at once is too much pressure I think.
Just feel comfortable and play max 2 Zoom tables. I think the break should be 10 min. every hour. Zoom is tough to play so long, so you better make 10 min. break. I played once Zoom 7 hours I think. It was so fast and finally I get dizzy.
That is just my opinion. Good luck with the new challenge.
I voted for zoom nlhe also I think that would be the most profitable challenge for you and probably the most fun to do also. Don't know about you but playing tourney over tourney may have you lost track or where you are or how you play due to previous badbeat or previous tourney rythm

I think the Zoom challenges will likely be the most fun, but also the toughest to complete. I quite like the idea of playing all the scheduled MTTs too. I think the single table ones will require a bigger bankroll than I currently have, so they may have to wait a while.
Peter, I know it will be tough, but my own rules are that any challenge must be 24 hours, no more than 5 minutes break per hour, and maximum tables where possible.
...oh, and I need to make a profit in order to "pass" the challenge.

I voted for the $1.50 6 man,...nlhe I suppose it is...
l like playing those,...so I guess that's why I voted for it...but I'm sure you should pick whichever game type you're most comfortable with and can do the best in....

I guess you should start from the begining of the list, and that's because you just listed them from the cheaper one to the most expensive one and i guess you should play them from that line up. If you start from the most expensive one, two things can happen: either you win and you tend to think there's no sense in entering the other challenges; or you lose a lot and you just run out of money to enter the other challenges. Good luck!

So it appears the NLH Zoom is the winner... So I'll go with that. I haven't been feeling too good the last few days, so I'll take a few days out to recover before giving it a go - probably a week this Saturday (June 8th).
I've decided, as there are no scheduled breaks on live tables I won't stick to a strict 5 minute break per hour... I'll just play for 24 hours, taking breaks whenever I need them... but not more than 5 minutes in any given hour.
I'll aim to take as few breaks as possible to try and play the most amount of hands I can - giving me the most amount of FPP available, and obviously, a better chance to win more $s
I'll start with say $50, and play 4 $0.01/0.02 NLH Zoom tables for 24 hours and will consider the challenge failed if I go broke. As I withdrew the vast majority of my bankroll the other day, stage one of the challenge is to get back up to $50 in the 9 days before Saturday - so technically, this challenge begins now.
So here goes.... playing a $1.10 $1.5k guaranteed at the moment - and I'll play a few more small buy-in MTTs to try and reach my starting bankroll.

I'd love to do it using some tracking software, but I think it would affect the performance of my (rather crappy) PC too much, so I won't be. If it's not too much trouble for me, I'll import the hands onto some software once I'm finished - but IDK. It would definitely be interesting to look through all the stats after something like this - as I'll be playing around 25,000 - 30,000 hands as an estimate. (could be way off, but that's what I'd guess).

Good question. It seems to me that's the best way you can get an edge over your opponents, because you can't realistically keep track of so many different players without it...
Does anyone even try to take notes manually on zoom players?

Yeah marqis - you are right. It would be a huge advantage to have some tracking software for this, but I'll have to do without.
Just being able to see players VPIP% and 3Bet% would be a big help.
Maybe one of my next challenges should be - "Make enough money to buy a good computer that can handle 20+ tables and PokerTracker before thinking of another challenge". Not the snappiest of names for a challenge, but still

I had forgot all about this with everything going on recently... I will do it soon, as long as I can build up enough bankroll for it... Think i need about $50, so it might take a couple of weeks of freeroll grinding to get there... But I will at some point. I think I'll go for the PLO Zoom, as I think it will be easier to stay focused than hold'em. I'll let you know when I'm ready to go...
