Rafa Nadal's growing love of poker and competitive spirit lead him to challenge 200 players to an impromptu poker tournament Held inside the Paris Tennis Club, just down the road from Roland Garros, the tournament was hosted on PokerStars' mobile platform. Playing on his iPad, Nadal battled his way through half the field before hitting the rail when his KhQs was out-flopped by his opponent’s Jc6d. The event was eventually won by "Kinkin.a.60" who took home a special chip set signed by Nadal.

How could someone play at that freeroll? or wasn't a freeroll? I think he get a nice bad-beat with KQo vs J6o and i think even if he don't lose there and he play HU for the 1st place i think he need to lose for the other player to win the prize or he could win and donate the chip set to 2nd place.

I haven't heard nothing about this event, and i also haven't seen anything announcing the possibility to run against him, but i spend more time at FTP than at PS, that must be why. It must have been great to be playing against Nadal, his promos are moving lots of players, great bet from PS.

Not bad if you can get it. I am wondering how the entrants got to enter? Was it as simple as, "Anyone here fancy a game? Bring your mobile along and we can get PS to set one up for us and away we go!"
I would have like to be aware of that upcomming surprise tourney just to play some hands against Rafa and be able to do like in his second pokerstar TV add where that lady in the library finally comes to win a hand against him. Would also like to see the way he's playing... wounder if he's constantly playing with his sox in a poker tourney too
