Daniel Negreanu's $25,000 WSOP Fantasy Draft took place yesterday and when the bidding had finished a total of 112 players were shared across 14 teams.
With a number of pros entering team, the basic rules for the draft were as follows:
Teams pay $25,000 to enter.
Each team has 200 bidding units and they must select eight players.
The team with the best performing players at the end of the WSOP will win some money.
After compiling the teams, Negreanu said that, aside from his own, he likes the look of Eugene Katchalov's team.
Opting for a mixture of youth and experience, Negreanu's team included: Shaun Deeb, John Juanda, Scott Clements, David Williams, Andy Frankenberger, Bryan Devonshire, Antonio Esfandiari and Mike Sexton.
While the likes of Phil Ivey went for a premium (110 credits), the likes of Jason Somerville, Isaac Haxton and Antonio Esfandiari were bargains in comparison with price tags of just one credit.
