A German poker player has helped trigger a bad beat jackpot the ended in 107 players splitting $914,000.
Playing a cash game inside Planet Hollywood Casino, Las Vegas, Robert Kopke moved all-in pre-flop with pocket kings and found a willing caller in Jungok Whang.
After Whang tabled pocket aces, an AhKsAc flop gave Whang an unbeatable hand but, more importantly, opened up the possibility of a huge jackpot payment.
With the entire poker room watching, the Kc on the turn caused an eruption of cheers as the insignificant the river brought the hand to a close and a start to the money payouts.
For being on the wrong end of the bad beat, Kopke scooped $182,952 while Whang banked $91,447 for her part in the hand.
On top of that, the rest of players in the room each took home $5,982 just for being at the right place at the right time.

very nice for those two players but seem to be a calculation problem with that share of the bad beat... how can the loosing hand only bring 182k ??? and why would all the player in the room be paid? the BBJ in my casino area pays the winning hand, the loosing hand and only the other player that took part on the dealt hand around the bad beat hand table...
