Very strong move but how often should you use it?
Couple of times I wasn't slow playing but was tryin to extract a little more cash out of opponents only for river to screw me whereas ll in on turn or flop even would of won me pot

If you're talking cash game play, then the answer is very rarely. Preflop, if I'm holding aces - I'll push all in regardless of stack if three people have raised before me (I'm the fourth raiser) - the reason being the third raiser almost certainly won't be folding... on the flop, again - I'd have to be holding the nuts, or at least top set or full house... and I'd raise all in the moment it became apparent that I'd get called. If you're short stacked - it can be worth pushing all in with any strong draws after the flop - giving you two chances to win the hand (if they fold, or they call and you win). But most of the time on cash tables, you should always bet for value. If you think you're winning, bet as much as you think will get called.
In SNGs and MTTs, all in is a lot more commonly used. Any time your stack is less than 10 times the total number of chips in the pot before any action (BB + SB + antes), then you should push all in with any hand you'd usually raise....
There's a lot more detail about how and when to shove all in - but I hope this helps.
in a tourney you should use the all in as a weapon of mass destruction when you get the nuts and you know your opponent got a very strong hand too or iss just completly a donk... In a cash game, it shouldn't happen that much but once again, if you got the nuts and are being aggresed by another player there it should be usefull

I'm going all in pre-flop when i have AA or KK or if a player is short stack and i want to isolate of other players and gambling ATs+ and 88+ 1 vs 1 Or if i feel a player bluff and the board is low cards and i have A high or a low pair because most of them raise pre-flop with high cards.

It really depends what do you play, on cash games you should rarely go all in preflop.
As for those hands you had as example the fact that you could have gone all in preflop the outcome was the same if the same players would have decide to go all in themselves before flop too...

Half the idiots I see playing on CARBON use this every hand they play. I get so frustrated because some players use this as if it's the only they know or only way they play. I know ebveryone here has experienced this at one time or another. What's funny is, they may succeed a time or two, but these players never make a final table.

Really good point, Green, i mean many new player may see this on the tables and see threads like this on various poker forums and may be tempted to try it out but they do not know the true...
Even if on short term and on games like cash(mainly or rare SNG HU) this strategy may pay off on long term and even on short terms on tournaments this is a losing strategy!

One thing that wasn't mentioned, and the original post was about is using all-in to stop the action. If I have the nuts but the board is very wet (flush + strait draws, etc.) and there are a few players still on board I never let them buy the river. It depends also on whats already in the middle of the table.
If the I understood the original post - all-in vs. slow play, I usually go with the all-in. Slow play will kill you eventually.

all above is well written and i must say bets work better then all ins when u bluff Plus i really dont like slowplaying i am for beting small to indicate a raise. ( i am talking about turnaments and SNGs )

I'm even more frustrated when i lose AA from a player who holds like 7,2 and he got 2 pair against BIG aces... I think sometimes that this poker isn't just to play smart . I dont play every hand ,im trying to take more chips when the blinds are still small.

Not too many folks in favour of slow playing aces,...but I always prefer to play them out. In the long run you get more money.
I want to see a flop first, then take it from there. At that point I'll either make a hefty raise or shove,...depending on my position. I always want to get maximum chips out of a hand from my aces. Shoving right off tends to scare most potential betters off...

I've learned that allin is something I rarely do even when I have the nuts unless someone kept calling through to the riv, but that means I definitely have the nuts. I'm just sick of watching idiots go allin with nothing. At least nothing I would consider going allin with. Any Ace by some means Allin, but I watch players and in long MTT's do my best to play tight, smart and be patient. I've learned to fold hands I used to never fold with and my game has improved considerably. Examples most A's with anything 10 or under, but based on calls, situation, position, etc.

depends if the table play a tight game or not ,investigate the players ,1 or 2 agresive players on table can help u (indirectly) but u must play some hands even if u lose then (before u re allin).Ussualyy if u go 2nd or 3rd time u get to be called ,cuz are waiting
