It's not lies, that is the whole point of those freerolls, they do them every few months, you get the cash - but you have to deposit. They don't lie, it's clearly in the terms of the freeroll ffs.

One of two things,....either a serious glitch in their software, which would make me a little leary about depositing money there,....
....or ya,....just an out-right lie or scam trying to cash in on a person's possible dishonesty if they think they can claim the cash by depositing,....and nobody's gonna know any better....lol...

Maybe its a mix up. But take a look at their terms to see what their requirements is for the specific bonus. It may worth depositing for it after all. And i doubt they will get it back if they realise their mistake

I know about this freeroll too. I get an e-mail from PKR from time to time telling me to join the 15.000$ non-depositor freeroll. Overall it sounds very tempting, first place probably is good cash, but then again nothing comes free in life. It's their interest to allow such freeroll, so that the people that win some money will cash and I think that it's a bonus money so u have x amount of time to clear it. As for your case - it's a gap on the system, a mistake though I can understand you question it. But even if it's a mistake, obviously they want you to deposit. You should read the term and conditions of this freeroll if u want to get the money...
hahahahaha nice story out there bro... well it might be a lie as you saying but it seem like a good lie for your interest... deposit 10 bucks and we'll give you an extra 22,50$ on top of it. Sound like an interesting promotion even if you haven't finished in the money on the freeroll tourney

I think they want you to deposit (and other ppl), after you'll deposit and claim your "winning", they will tell you: "Oh sorry, it was a soft mistake, you finished in 1.432. Better send them an email, to have a proof, and ask if they are sure you have those money to claim, to check better. If they still say you have the prize there, deposit. If they after will say, no, no, was a mistake, you have a proof.

The suggestion 4_the_W made was the best one. Better not risk it depositing Ask them first to confirm if you are entitled to get that bonus and then you see about your next move. But i believe after sending them the email they will reply saying they were wrong.
