Back on stars after a long hiatus
Played the 3.30 tournament earlier and once average stacks reached round 15k - 20k about 85 -90% of all hands were all in fests
I was playing 1.10 tournament at same time and the lack of all in compared to 3.30 was amazing, I always thought the higher in Stakes the less instant all in
I sneaked into the money in 3.30 finishing 137 and got 28 dollars so was delighted, only river cost me carrying on

donk feet? Is that like a poker version of the movie Happy Feet? I can just picture the penguins trying to play poker now.....
I think the thing is steffi, that when stack sizes are that size and the blinds are getting up, the all in push is a good move, and the fact that there is more pushing in the $3.30 than the $1.10 shows superior ability, not worse...

aye even in the hot $4.40 which i've played a few times in the last week it's the same,so you have got to go with the flow and shove with your good hands if you win you win

ah well as far as i can see only decent games that i have seen at lower stakes is brm home games (easter & christmas)- guys really play fantastic poker, no nonsense with pre flop shoving or pre flop shaving. i guess if you want to avoid pre flop all ins go for fl games...
