Hey there mobsters....
After 2 days of disapointment on stars....I took a day of...
The golden sng promotion had me tilting as I got me all wound up that I played a lot more as I normally do. So took some time to do other things.
Just now i logged on to my account and registerd a 2.50 with 180 people...Instead of that ther game started a moderator told us it was a GOLDEN SNG and we all would get rewarded....Shame it is only the Lowest level so we get 5 dollar and prices are doubled...I dont play these often but I had a First place and 2 second places a month ago, and wiyh double money this would be a nice boost for my BR.

Ouch that was a bad bad bad choice I made their...thought he was bluffing....
So the title of this thread should be changed ...I WAS in a golden SNG.....still double buy in back... but their is one person who got over 27 K!!!!!!!!!!

The good part is that you are on profit, it really doesn't matter that it was a golden sng, a sng it's a sng after all and variance can hit any time...
Anyways this give you more bullets to play so keep us posted with future results!

Demo,if you are playing a sng,any sng you have the chance of being selected for a golden sng,you could get 2 times ,4 times or 10 times your buy-in plus the prize pool money gets multiplied by the same amount.w when the table is full that's when you are told if it's a golden one or not.

everybody gets the buy-in mate,and then they play for the paying places,i've been in about 30 so far and not been picked so it isn't that easy to get a golden sng.

Yeah... they're so rare And the biggest probability is on the high stakes. Proportional: tournament with $2.00 fee has 20x much more chance to be golden than tournament with $0.10 fee...

hey Mies- congrats to be the only mobster so far (correct me if i'm wrong) to take part in a golden sng. this promotion only looks good on paper, in reality it's a bloody work to get yourself into one of those. i guess if one is grinding as always it does offer him a free chance to get more for his dollars, but grinding more than usual leaves u with a great chance to lose more than national debt of Tanzania

U are right pal....only really small percentage of the SNG's is getting awarded and so they make the players happy with nothing.... ( or at least not much.... )..they just want people depositting and play more so they get more rake..... Pokerstars marketing makes the biggest diffrence compared to other online pokersite.... It's just Like the redlight district in Amsterdam...... U see those beatifull ladies waving at U, calling U babe and asking U to come in....There they get the money out of ur wallet and when the lights go on , U'll see that they are not really good looking at all.....it all looks spectacular till U have a better look....No wonder PS is the biggest of them all...
