Do you think tournament tracking sites should be allowed to operate?

Good day.
I just went onto a popular website which tracks tournament and SNG results for online, not sure if I can put their name here but their name is shar***ope (hope that passes). Anyways, 888 has asked them to remove any information pertaining to tournaments and SNG that have been played on the 888 network. What is your opinion on this?

Dont know why they are soooo bothered to have any information taken of SS because the only information that it will have is shove shove and more shoves, aint going to improve ur poker or get player info are you really

what so big deal? i think those tracking software are good ,i mean they t don improve u re skills ....just offer u few info about sommeone .If u don t want to be finded u can hide u re status If 888 want this they should respect theyr decizion is not such a big deal with it ....just statistic .More then this, if a player have a bad statistic i bet hes more motivated to win, with a good Br menatlity if not he will keep gambling

IT doesn't make much difference to me since I play fort fun for the most part. Merge is just hard to stay up on your ROI at least from an MTT standpoint, but SnG's seem to keep me afloat. It would be nice if there was a bit more detail to the overview that they show. Like keeping SnG's, MTT's and Cash Games in separate categories and calculate ROI on all three areas.
I missed your thread for "What's everyone doing this weekend?" I thought you had something going with that! Good Luck All!

I think results tracking sites should be allowed to operate, but I think both Players and Sites should have the option to opt-out if they desire and this process should be easy and transparent.

i dont give a fcukin care who tracks & furthermore who want to see those tracked results, because i dont think anyone would be too interested in my epic $0.02 battles or that i dropped say $0.15 on tuesday but on wednesday i had a fantastic day and won $0.17 guess this is an issue to those who play at higher stakes...$0.10 or so

Posted by mahdrof: Thanks to everyone who posted opinions. I personally do not have a problem with these tracking sites, as long as people have the option to "opt out".
