What weight is this fight? Just curious since I don't get to watch to many anymore. My son is into this MMA and usually orders it off the tube. It cost about $50.00 every time they have these fights on. Usually twice a month. Is this a pay per view fight?

This fight is in middleweight division and will be translated on HBO Boxing in USA i guess. Golovkin has the potential to be the star in near future,so he needs to show a great fight today. The closest PPV fight will be on Saturday September 14 between Floyd Mayweather Jr and Saul Alvarez which is another interesting too.

Posted by fishseller: Another disappointing weekend for British fans. David Price lost again in his rematch with Tony Thompson.
I'm from Liverpool where he is from and never understood the hype, i mean yeah hes decent but not amazing, he'd never been in a proper scrap. I think Tyson Fury is waay better.

Need to disagree with you there mate, Tyson Fury iv watched in many of his fights he's massively over rated and not fought top level Heavyweights, the crap the guy comes outwith is just unbelieved. Haye is going to have a easy night when these two meet.

Why does everyone say that? Hes fuckin 6ft 9 of course hes never gonna be easy on the eye. Plus big guys have no balance, so thats another reason he might not look so accomplished. As Tyson Fury said "haye is just a pumped up cruiserweight" (he literally is) and will get destroyed by Tyson Fury. As for the stuff he says...so did ali, so did tyson. He's also said "if you don't believe you could beat anyone from anytime, any place, then wtf are you doing in the ring?" hes right there also. I think people just don't like a big mouth gypsy getting attention, but it doesn't mean hes not good. As for him never fighting any big fighters...he has, he knocked out someone who went the distance with a klitchko.

Macklin will find it tough to get a result - but he's a good fighter, and it wouldn't be a huge surprise to me if he wins...
I am very much on rab's side when he says Tyson Fury is massively over-rated... He is good, but by no means great... he's a brawler, not a boxer. David Haye, I believe is rather under-rated and I can't see this fight being any trouble for him at all....
IMO Fury beating Haye would be a much bigger surprise than Macklin beating Golovkin - although none of the possible results are totally out of the question.

Posted by fishseller: Hello mates,
Nathan Cleverly vs Sergey Kovalev fight tonight. Are any of you (especially UK fans) going to watch?
Cleverly to win man, cheers I got another tip if you want too, Barker to beat Geale, well hope they win and we get a good fight, i always like some good fights get your adrenaline pumping hehe.
Solid win by Sergey Kovalev tonight, i'm very glad for him. Who is next? Adonis Stevenson( in case of his september win) or may be 'the grand father' Bernard Hopkins? Anyway good luck to Sergey in his future.
And a good victory by Barker(the fight was close). It seems Barker will meet Felix Sturm next time, though it will be interesting to see him against Gennady Golovkin.
