PokerStars set for New Jersey deal  0
Following on from PokerStars' unsuccessful bid to purchase the Atlantic Club Casino, the online site has just announced a new partnership with New Jersey's Resorts Casino and Hotel.
Opened back in 1978, Resorts Casino and Hotel was the first of its kind to open in Atlantic City and their partnership will see them offer a modern way of gaming courtesy of PokerStars.
The new deal will give PokerStars the ability to offer online poker in the state of New Jersey and marks their first move back into the US market since Black Friday.
Although still pending state approval, The Rational Group's CEO, Mark Scheinberg, said the deal gives them a "fantastic partner" and they are "very happy to invest in New Jersey".
Indeed, with Resorts' owners, Mohegan Gaming Advisors, also in charge of the Mohegan Sun in Connecticut and Margaretville, the new deal could hold further potential for PokerStars.
