Voting for the WSOP Hall of Fame is currently underway and members of the community are being urged to nominate worthy candidates. Submissions must be based on a player's overall achievements and a nominee must:
Be successful at the highest level. Be at least 40 years old. Have played consistently well and have the respect of their peers. Have thrived for a long period of time and positively contributed to the game.
The deadline for submissions is August 15, at which time a Nominating Committee will review and finalise the nominations. An official list will then be forwarded to voters, before the current Hall-of-Famers decide which two candidates will join them in a special ceremony during the Main Event finale in November.
