Hansen's WSOP delay  0
The WSOP Main Event might be the biggest tournament of the year, but if you're Tom Dwan and Gus Hansen it's just another $10,000 distraction.

Despite registering for Day 1C, both Tom and Gus allowed their 30,000 chip starting stacks to dwindle away while they played Open Face Chinese.

Taking place inside the Aria, onlookers have reported that the game involves stakes of $3,000 a point and Gus had around $1,500,000 in front of him.

Joining Tom and Gus in the game is a selection of rich amateurs with links to Asian billionaire Richard Wong who has reportedly visited the game multiple times to refill their stacks.

At the close of Day 1C both Tom and Gus were still alive in the Main Event with stacks of 18,075 and 17,975 respectively, but with the Open Face action ongoing it's unlikely they'll sit down for Day 2.

If they see chances of bigger profit playing there, then i doubt they will quit
and play the WSOP.
After all, its all about making more money, the easier way and they may have found
a billionaire easy target Smile

Yeah I'd have to agree with Mober here! They've found themselves someeasy money and if they can take home more playing the games that are currently bringing less attention, but more cash they'll stay and play until they fall asleep at the tables.

It's clear that if you are up 1.5M dollars and you are on a heater you don't need to leave that table!

I think for both those guys 10k dollars is peanuts. I think those private high stakes tables could be a lot more interesting than some WSOP events.
