PokerStars' lobbying in California  0
Following on from their recent move into New Jersey, it appears PokerStars is now lobbying Californian officials.
Citing a GamblingCompliance article, OPR's report suggests that former US politician D**k Gephardt is part of this effort and has been speaking with officials in Sacramento.
Moreover, it's believed PokerStars has already found a willing Californian casino in the form of the Hawaiian Gardens.
If the rumours are true it will be yet another step back into the US market for PokerStars following the events of Black Friday.

Hmm i think in next 2 or 3 years they will move on the ocean on a huge boat and keep all rake for them and don't pay even ONE CENT for every MILLION they get from fee. Hope they will change that river and let good players to win.

California could be a great starting point, i mean it's one of the top areas in US and from what i know the gambling industry it's not that strong there.

I also believe thats only a matter of time until all US residents will be able to play online again.

Yeah....D1ck,....that's funny... Big Smile

What a name though,...could you imagine being called D1ck your whole life...?

"Hey D1ck" hahahahahaaaaaa....

I have a friend whose last name is 'Blower'.... we called him 'BlowMe',....that was his nickname...

We all grew up here at a resort beach full of tourists. If we saw him coming along and we wanted to get his attention through the crowds, we'd holler...

"HEY,....BLOWME".... Big Smile

...and people walking along with their kids were right disgusted with that,...and some had even told us off and not to use language like that in public,...especially when there were kids around....

Big Smile heheheeeeeeeeeeeeee.............
