With Carlos Mortensen one player with a bigger name has made it deep into the tourney. A bit unusual in the last years for the main event, where the live pros didn't cut it.

Anton has quite a stack, if he knows how to play it in his advantage he could get the podium or even the first place.
Tran and David are indeed known players but i guess the first post reffered to more known top players but if you think about it this entire edition of WSOP had many new names as winners.

wow such a crazy ride last night. morgenstern gotta be so tilted right now as well as the final table bubble Carlos mortensen. but im really impressed how amir lehavot played last night. anyways allready excited about the Final table

JC tran is in a brilliant position now to take this down.. Can't wait till November to see how this all unfolds.
Could be quite a firework party because there are lots of loose players at the final table...

Last hand played to set the November Nine JC Tran and Carlos Mortensen tangled on a Tc6c3s9c board. After moving all-in with Ac9h Mortensen needed some help against Tran's 8c7s, but as the 2d fell the river the Spaniard became the final table bubble boy. The surviving nine will now return on November 4 to battle for the Main Event's $500,000 bracelet.

gotta like the chances of JC tran to take the whole thing down. He's the most experienced player left and knows how to handle his chip stack. read some updates during day 6 & 7 and he allways seemed to make the right decision
