I am sick of seeing Sorin posting stuff he's fouind off a rival site to this one. I mean come on, the rest of us have to use our own intelligence and brains to participate on this forum. he just copies other peoples words onto BRM and gets rewarded for it.
I am all for people using articles they have read and maybe raising discussions, but simply copying and pasting stuff from other sites is really taking the mickey.
Why should he get rewarded for just learning to use CTRL C +CTRL V whilst the rest of us actually make the effort.
And please don't say its because he doesn't speak English, because if he didn't speak English he wouldn't be able to read what he was copying. He must know whats he's copying...

Nothing against anyone, but I'd rather read those then see someone posting the same statement over and over in threads and collecting points for that.
I'm not disagreeing with you here about the fairness, but there's other things going on to like posting the same comment over and over in various threads. I won't mention Pochui's name! LOL

No, that's true, but its going against what this site is about. The whole point is that members should discuss poker, and in return BRM offers them a reward. THis isn't the case. Its simply someone who starts threads, and then replies to other threads using words he's copied from other sites.
I just see it as cheating to benefit from BRMs generosity. Its no different to just posting one word answers to threads and getting points for it. If anything its worse because not only are you cheating BRM, you are also copying articles other people have written and pretending they are your own...
As I say, I just think it really is a kick in the nuts for all those the really do try to improve this forum by adding worthwhile opinioins. This clown is not making any effort and yet he gets the same rewards for just copying other peoples work..

Yeah - you're right... it is as bad as getting points for one word replies, which BRM did crack down on... they will have a problem with this I'm sure - but how they'll police it, I don't know.
For the record, I have a lot of time for anyone who joins in with discussions... even if I totally disagree with their opinion. But if someone chooses not to be a part of that, then that is up to them and I won't think any less of them because of it.

Hello, Sometimes, he bring us some news, that i honestly didnt know them. So they are good. Same as nipitiri3, BRM is the only sites i enter , and read news about poker and stuff. So in my opinion is doing a good job. Also his posts are not copy-paste, or not all of them. I dont know why is bothering you. Since if you look on sites you can find those news.... And he doesnt say, "This is something i only post it" , or " This is mine ".

you're wrong here mate: some time ago we were credited points also for voting in polls but because of members just clearly voting for points and not only to express their options. Admin noticed it and removed that option so now we are no longer credited points for voting in polls.

With the polls, BRM were made aware of a flaw in their points system because of so many people taking advantage. The people taking advantage were not to blame - they were simply earning points within the rules of the site.

yeah, but there is a not so tiny difference between acting within the rules and being part of a community in a positive and constructive way.
Imho people takeng advantage were and still are to blame. The reason is quite simple. If I make a poll it means I need/want to know the opinion of the community about a matter: but if people vote only for points and not to ive their honest opinion the spirit of the community doesn't exhist anymore. And if you add to this you are rewarded only to give your honest opinion then according to me abusing thereward system is really a stupid way to behave....even if it's within the rules.

getting back to the original question: i don't think sorin is doing anything malicious- i personally don't go to other poker/gambling related websites/forums, so i read the info he is copy/pasting for the 1st time, yeah i understands that this is not his info and that he is credited with 10 mobpoints for every post...but honestly i don't give a sh1t. he is getting paid not from my pocket and that's the only thing that matters to me. don't like it- don't read it. over the period i've been on this forum i can honestly say that i have seen much bigger crap being posted here, such as poker is rigged, how could my aces been cracked, when is da going to pey my mai mony etc. (and as greenmohave mentioned my own copy/paste template as well).

I must agree with pochui. More - I must say, that I read those Sorin's post, because I don't read more poker-related sites than BankrollMob and some Polish site on fb. And I can't agree with fact, that the only thing he do, is copying information. You should agree, that he must check and sort important information - he don't copy-paste all of them but only the most important, I think...
