Double four of a Kind  0
Just playing on 9 seater micro stakes tables and got dealt two twos and hit two more on the flop. Two hands later I was BB and had A4 off and three aces hit on the flop. Did not make much off of them but I have never seen Four of a Kind in quick successions.

Has anyone ever seen it like that or more?

I seen this one the other week where some guy flopped four 4's bet pot, a donkey shoved on him with 77 and runner runnered 77 I've never seen anything like it before and commented on it.

------------
The other day aswell some guy tried to limp and slow play aces on me, I had KK raised, he re raised, I went all in. I flopped a K, He turned an A, I rivered a K Mobster

You mention pocket 7s. Back a few years ago I used to play in a freeroll on the Nuts poker league site on I-poker. It was a fun game with some decent quality players and a £20 bounty on the site owner who was nicknamed the badger.

Everyone used to target him, and getting his bounty was nigh on impossible.

This one player got into a pot with the badger, but didn't have enough chips to KO him but would leave him shortstacked. The badger raised pre flop from the cut off. This player who was on the BB called. The flop came down A 7 7. The badger checked, BB shoved the badger called. THe cards go over and the badger has AK. The BB turns over 7 7 with quads. Wins the hand and the badger is now shortstacked. Very next hand the badger raises again, the player was now on the SB calls again. The flop comes down rag card, ace and a 7. the BB bets and the badger just calls.

The turn came over a 7 and the badger types in the chatbox. "bet you wish you had those pocket 7s again" which the BB simply outs in a smiley wink and says "how do you know I haven't". He then bets again, the badger shoves and he calls. The cards go over, and sure enough the bloke turns over 77 again.

Two hands on the trot he hit quad 7s and picks up £20 for KOing the badger..

I've never seen anything like it in any game I've ever played in since.

I've never seen THAT before,....and it would be a REAL BUMMER to get your quads clobbered by someone elses... Confused

...been in many hands before though where your full house gets out full-housed by the guy who gets the inverse of yours...like where you might get 9s full of 10s,...and buddy winds up with 10s full of 9s.... Aww crap!

Just ran through my runner runner 4 of a kind hand. The guy had 44 vs the donk with 77. Pre flop odds were 18.72% for 44... 79.94% for 77 and 1.94 for a split. Post flop it was 99.9% to 44 and 0.10% to 77. That is seriously crazy s**t to runner runner the 7's.

If you play long enough, you will see just about every hand imaginable. A couple of years ago I was in a hand of quads vs. quads for the first time, and then it happened to me two other times in the same year (won 2 lost 1). My favourite unusual run was hitting straight flush three times in the same MTT, and there is one hand where I would have hit another straight flush if I had played my cards!

The number of times I've folded hands like 2 2 or 33 and would have hit quads is unbelievable.

I've even had it in a live game. I had 88 and a big stack bet 6 x BB from UTG. The next player then shoves all in and its folded around to me. I know he's a loose cannon who will shove with any ace, and if it were him alone I would have snap called, but the player UTG was a tight player with a good reputation, so I figured whilst I may have the loose player dominated, I may be behind to the tight player. So after thinking long and hard, I decided to fold. The tight player then calls the all in and turns over AK, as does the loose player. So I would have been ahead of them both. An 8 hit the flop ( as well as a king ) so I would have had them drawing dead on the turn. The turn is then the case 8 and I've just folded what would have been quads.

They split the pot, and I am sat there absolutely cursing my luck.. had I called with 88 then I'd have been a massive chipleader... Three hands later I went out when my AA lost to 33 in an all in pre flop battle.....

Such is the life of us poker players.

I have probably had every ones except for the jackpot hand itself: The Royal Flush. I have had a couple straight flushes and a few more four of a kind. The rest below are less rare.

Your thread prompted me to look up something I've been meaning to do for quite some time now,....and that's look up just how many different hands are possible with 52 cards of 4 different suits...

...there's even a short bit about quads.

"...With 13 different cards and 4 suits, for 52 cards total, there is a total of 2,598,960 different possibilities of hands! Ever wonder why you never hit that straight flush? Well there are only 40 different straight flushes (including royal flushes) which means 40 out of over 2.5 million possibilities, for a grand total of a 0.00154% chance. Four of a kind is still rare, but over 15 times as likely, with 624 different combinations and a 0.024% chance. You have to play a lot of poker to be dealt those hands!..."

I got that exerpt from this website here:

I was close to one today but someone else must have had the Q I was looking for.

2,598,960? Wow, that makes reading peoples hands even harder to me, especially with idiot players online.

fcumred the funny thing is that when i hit quads on PLO i always had small pairs like 22, 33 or the top was 77 Smile

The weird stuff is that other players that hit quads and i was at the table with them also had small pairs, i think the max was a pair of jacks.

You can see such hands more often if you play Omaha games.
Some times you will be amazed n the winning hands you can see in a row.
Not always yours though, but it happens.

I've seen almost everything. I was in a PLO game and lost with quads to a rivered royal flush ( I even posted it on here ).

I've had AA three hands on the trot, and to make that even more unbelievable, I won every time with them.

I've had AA one hand, KK the next hand, QQ the following hand and then 99.

I've hit a boat four hands on the trot..

You name it, I've seen it.

Just today in the "Big Ticket to Sunday's $215 Game" I had a pair of Q's and with only 64 players left (have to make top 50 to hit $215 ticket) I hit 4 Q's, but got beat by a player who called and hit 4 aces. The most unbelievable BS I'd ever played in. I thought I had this without a doubt and could not believe the Flop A,Q,Q, turn a K and river an A. Never have seen it and really regret seeing it!

On carbon I assume...

I've seen some absolutely unbelievable hands on carbon, like the player who calls three all ins with A 3 and hits quad 3s beating AA, KK and JJ.

You sit and look at the screen and part of you wants to laugh, because its so comical how it unfolds. Then you sit and think "poor sod... if that happened to me I'd go mental" only to find that three hands later it does happen to you, and suddenly its not funny anymore...

For that reason I never type in the chatbox anything that mocks someones bad beat because I know at some point, its my turn, and everyone else then wants to laugh at me...

Was that in a BRM Fulltilt freeroll? Because I can remember someone having all those in the order and I messaged in chat saying all you need now is 1010 and JJ for the set.
