The 12th season of the World Poker Tour (WPT) will kick off in just about one month's time. So far, the organisers of the very popular tournament series have revealed half of the schedule of season XXII (11 stops), which includes a brand new stop in South Korea. WPT South Korea begins December 16 and will be held at the brand new WPT Club Phoenix Room at the Ramada Plaze Hotel in Jeju.

I'd like to participate in the Doyle Brunson Five Diamond World Poker Classic, but I doubt I'll be able to afford the buyin for something like that and even if I could buyin once it would take a years salary to do so.
I'm just hoping I get the chance to watch some of these events within minutes of the live action, but I'm sure it's going to be pre-recorded and like the ones I watch now that are months or at the earliest weeks old.

The new destinations they expended are pretty good considering asians are huge gamblers so the participation should be guaranteed.
Green, i think if online poker would be available in US it was possible for some sites to organize online sattelites for live events and then you could had better chances without risking so much money. Unfortunately i do not think this will be available this year...

12 seasons allready of the WPT. I remember watching the early tournaments and seeing Gus Hansen killing the fields. Not anymore though because the standard is so much higher than the early days
