I tried that myself earlier in the year, playing for fifth place and the cash. Unfortunately I came 7th.

Still I made an awesome amount of ffp points from my initial buy in.

Ive played it today at full tilt poker. Managed to hit step5, which is worth 230$ as a ticket and panicked - decided to stop and on purpose finished on 4th place in 6 player sng - cashed out 180$ as the numbers were getting too high for me. I'm kinda glad since I doubled my bankroll but on the other hand I was only 2 steps away from final one, the 7th with price pool of 20k bucks.
If I wasnt that poor(i.e 200 bucks is a lot for me and losing it is kinda painful) then I would propably play till end as you must get really unlucky to get knocked out with NOTHING(like calling allin with AA and a lose to some flush or straight. Literally when you play ultra tight(as you should do in 1table sng) you can qualify for a retry ticket or 1tier lower one while not playing single hand.

Well at least we can safely assume he hasn't just copied and pasted someone elses comments.

Actually, its highly possible he has, and that was the best he could come up with.

Ah well.. one more to add to the list.

thats exactly what i thought plus if u get to step 6 u get 550 vpp everytime u play it and if u only play monster and ur almost sure to land 4 or 5th of 9 peeps at the 5th place u get crazy money on 4th u can retry and get another 550vpp im think f depositing soon not much just 10 bucks for some plays but stil im thinking of entering step a Tongue Big Smile
