Well it woud be interesting to see the whole play here...

1 rst pic : how come your still in the play postflop... did your opponenet not make a raise? or did you make a continuation bet and he called ?
With such a flop your low pocketpair is almost worthless due to higher cards, str and fl chances.

You get a seemingly lucky turn (hit fullhouse) but if you had to call postflop and postturn for it ... it is more bingo play and you get punushed for it...

It changes of course when you got the tun and river for free

second pic : postflop there is already a chance for a FH (pair on te board)

your oppponet has 10 outs on the river to hit FH or carre

Any chance we can see the whole hand histories for these because no offence, I cannot understand in either hand how they even got to the river if they weren't even pre flop all ins.

In the first hand, I can only assume it was a pre flop all in, in which case what on gods earth are you doing going all in pre flop with 44 against a stack that will cripple you if you lose. I would never call an all in pre flop, or shove all in pre flop with 4 4 if it risked so much of my BR.

If however it wasn't a pre flop all in, and you saw the flop, then not one cent should have been bet until the river, and even then you had the worst boat possible on that hand. Its quite conceivable you were losing to a higher full house. Theres no way you should have risked so many chips on that board.

With the second hand, sorry, again that hand should have been in the muck long before the river. Any bet made before the river card, and you should have folded. If it was checked to the river and he bet, again, hard to do, but its a fold.

The way I see those hands, without reading the HH, its not bad beats, its not even bad luck. Its bad play...

I think that just calling his bet on the river would have been the sensible move. I know its hard when you've rivered a boat, but sometimes you have to stop and ask yourself what could he have that could beat me, and if you stop and add it all up, it actually means there was quite a bit he could win with.

That's what so many players never do. THey don't stop and think how many hands the opponent could have that beats their hand, and in many cases what they think is a clear winning hand actually is dominated by so many hands, they realise they should have folded really.

On the first hand i really do not like how you played it, on his last bet i presume he was already all in.

On that spot i would simply had called that 1600 bet that he made and hoped that he had just a queen. Plus you should have raised preflop since you were in a late position at the table.

You were unlucky but i am with macubaas on this one.
You shouldnt have raised him on the river after that bet.
Lots of big cards for another full house.
If you are unlucky always expect the worst Smile

Well,...in that first one,...it may have been a 'trap' in HIS mind,....but certainly NOT in yours.... After all, it WAS a full house...
Nothing really I'd call a trap,...although technically it may have been...

CERTAINLY a BIG bummer though,...ya got a full house,....dreams of a big stack them....BAM!!! Wake up call....lol...

HelLOOOOOOOOOOOOOO..........!!! Big Smile

how about this one from tonight, i was getting a bit low 40,000 in chips blinds were 2,000 / 4,000
the big stack who had 240,000+ had raised the last 2 pots and folded to all-ins raised again so i went all -in,he called and look what happened, another example of why you don't mess with the big stacks.

Bad hands for you Alex, this is jokerstars or online poker... they will win always because you play for win or lose and they keep 5% of any hand and they win even if you win or lose, have you lose with AA Live more than online?
