I bet you think you've had your share of bad beats huh? I bet you lose when you're ahead far more than you win when you're behind. I bet you believe you deserve some compensation for being the most unlucky player on whatever site you play; if you had some players' luck you could be a millionaire by now.

So here's the challenge. Without giving any bad beat stories or examples of well-played/unlucky hands (we can all produce hand histories that tell half a story from the thousands of hands we play) can you convince me you are the unluckiest person on bankrollmob?

I know there are a lot of mobsters out there who will be positively convinced they deserve this award so the competition will be tough. So the winner of the all-time unluckiest mobster award will not only deserve the pity of the entire forum but will win a much needed 2000 mob points. But before you get your hands on the prize you will need to complete the ruthlessly unfeasible task of making me actually feel sorry for you.

Good luck (so to speak) Big Smile

and remember no bad beat stories!!!

Smile Heart Aww crap! Thumbs Up Dollar

Oh well, a competition I can't win.

I have a wonderful partner and a beautiful child.

That makes me the luckiest person in the world.

Shame, I could have used the points lol Tongue

Is it possible to send mobpoints? ....if so, I have a fair few I can give away.

As for the unluckiest Mobster... I certainly won't be winning that - I'm exceptionally lucky Smile

"Only bad golfers are lucky. They're the ones bouncing balls off trees, curbs, turtles and cars. Good golfers have bad luck. When you hit the ball straight, a funny bounce is bound to be unlucky."
Lee Trevino

If your'e unlucky more times than you are lucky that means your'e doing something right...

One of the best posts I've ever seen on here roeish... Anyone that doesn't understand the parallels between this and poker - read it over and over and over until you do.

The right frame of mind is just as important in poker as knowledge and experience.

THAT is friggin' hilarious dude... Big Smile Thumbs Up That's like being INFINATELY unlucky...

The mathematical equivalent to THAT is finding the square root of the number -1 (negative one)...

That's like somebody telling you that EVERYTHING they say is a lie.....

That's like sticking your head up your a$$ and pulling it out of your MOUTH......by YOURSELF.... Confused Big Smile

That is VERY unlucky...

It also, paradoxically, means that whoever wins it by definition isn't unlucky enough to win it. Big Smile

And then, if they were disqualified on those grounds, they would be unlucky enough to win...and then as they had won....

My head hurts.

"If they were giving medals for unluckiness, you would have come 4th"

The original phrase is about mediocrity but it applies also to unluckiness (maybe even better).

I think that the worse is getting knocked out of a tournament right before the money (or the final table) with As

Dont think thats unlucky.... I would call that something different.....

Besides that he is from the Netherlands ( like me) and how can U be unklucky if U are born in a country, wich provides U over 900 euro a month(+medical insurrance) for doing nothing ....

While in other less fortunate countries people have to work a month for a lesser amount of money, in our country U can just sit back and wait for the social welfare every month.

So there are no unlucky people over here ( tho some will say differently)

For myself , I am the luckiest man on the planet since my divorce ( could recommend that to all of U) so I dont quallify .......

Best of luck to all of U......especially for the winner of this competition....

Big Smile
