Well that's all fine and dandy as long as they can keep all those potential tourists away from the reef...
That's an extremely delicate and sensitive undersea region to any disturbances. Last thing you need is a bunch of drunks tossing their garbage and cigarette butts over the side of tourboats and yachts...
I hope the Australian government can impose some heavy restrictions to prevent the reef from being over-run with yahoos...

Now that's some serious money to be spending 3.74 BILLION dollars to spend on a casino. This had ought to be one of the biggest, nicest and most opportunist casinos ever to be built. Wonder if they'll get any poker tournaments to sign on.

Plus australia it's a country in which gambling it's not so popular so the market can grow really good. I'm really curious to see how they will built it in just 5 years.

This sounds a huge project and no doubt they have done quite substantial market research and have a view that they can make a lots of money out of it,,... suppose the main aim has to be to protect he reef and this will no doubt inject cash into the area which will work to protect the reef.
