Just had an all in with someone who I thought could never win or lose but just draw. basically it was us two all in AKo vs his AKs. He hit a flush on the turn. Was quite cool actually as I have only seen that happen on TV.

I only lost £1 which was already in profit I made at that table. Me and the other guy had a laugh about it. It happens but at least I have witnessed it now.

It happens and we just have to deal with it. We should all know that most of the time you will always win with the bigger hand in all in coin flips so we just got to suck it up. Just lost my second all in with the same guy and he gets lucky again but it did not bother me. Damn river aces saving peoples asses.

AK suited is slightly favoured I think but most of the time it ends up in a tie no fault in shipping it with AKoff just unlucky

Hi Vic
Yep you are right, AKs V AKo is about a 1% favourite. As others have said I think being beat with AA Vs AA and flushed out is impossible to see, win or losing end.
I have days when I know I should fold AA as I kno its going to beat, that just winds me up but these things go round n circles - you win some, you lose some.

Well, it is unlucky to lose such a hand after the flop, but always remember that you could have lost to a hand such as 46o, which happened to me more than once. You could have been facing two live cards which is not a coin toss but could go either way. What I hate the most is when I have AK against AQ and the flop is AKT and than a J. Happened to me too often as well.

Very true but that particular player had been aggressive with lower hands all session trying to 3 bet me out of pre flop every hand so I went all in thinking he had a lower Ax or rubbish. I won it back f him before I left anyway.
