I have no idea who would i bet to win the league. This has to be one of the most unpredictable seasons in recent years. The only thing I would bet on is Stoke to relegate. They were s**t before, but without Pulis and with Mark Hughes, damn, I wouldn`t want to be a Stoke fan this year.

Considering everyone has new managers except Arsenal I think if Arsene Wenger doesn't win it again this year he needs to be sacked. Thats not to say I think they will win it though. I think Chelsea will.

Wenger should have been sacked a couple of seasons ago. They are not gonna win it this year either, they are not even going to be close, another 4th place finish or so. If they would get Suarez, they would have some hope, but they are not going to get him. The first three teams are going to be the same, I just hope they are going to be in the same order as well

I would say don't diss my team but its on Joe so crack on.
I have a feeling Man U will be finishing 5th this season, especially after City, Chelsea and Tottenham have all strengthened.

I wouldn't bet on Stoke relegating so quickly. They are regularly very hard to beat at home. Don't know why but they just keep somehow getting points at home even when they have bad times. I think that they will most probably survive this season as well.

You are probably right about the first three teems but I don't think that Wenger is to blame. his budget is nowhere near the first . He is rivaling against Liverpool and the Spurs for a place at the Champion's league and keep on getting it. They looked quite good there last year and gave a fight playing against Baiern, better than Barca... I still think he's one of the best manager in England and his teams are always fun to watch

I think that Wenger is to blame. His budget is not that bad considering the teams that have won something in the last 8 years. 8 years is a long tome for a club like Arsenal without absolutely nothing. Clubs like Birmingham and Swansea have won the league cup in that time, and Bradford, lol, made the finals. Wigan won the FA Cup, Portsmouth won the FA Cup. 8 years is too long to just blame the budget.

I'm thinking that Chelsea will win the league this year.
United is in transition, new manager no new players, you might argue that they have the same squad as last year, but if injury happens and RVP got injured, then things would turn ugly for them.
City has not impressed so far, and I dont thing they will be any good. Arsenal being impressive but they tend to go down on the second half of the season.

Anyone else think Swansea are going to be the dark horse of the league this season? They're Barcelona-esq football and now some more good signings and they should be a team to fear if your under the top four.

The Swans are definitely good, but I don`t think they will be in the top 6. They are really good to watch though. Michu must be the best signing in the last couple of years. To get a player like that for that money - just amazing. I hope that Laudrup stays there more than just one more year, but I doubt it.

In my opinion as na expert pof football is easy to see that Chelsea or Man city will be the champion! Man city probably have a littleedge over Chelsea now that they have a decente manager! But as portuguese iam rooting for Mourinho to smash the league!

Any good predictions here for the championship to put an early bet there? Now that the odds will be higher than later in the season. Kino is saying Chelsea. Should i put some money there?

You are right, they should have won something during that period, but having said that, I don't really consider the local cups (League cup is a joke - most champion's league teams are playing with their third lineup) and getting to the final stages of the Champions is much more important. and again, they're always fun to watch. I hope they will have a good season.

There will be some big last minute transfers in the Pl, who will decide who will win it this year.
Liverpool will be just oustide the Championsleague spots, Arsenal wont be getting any of the wanted new players and will agai just be short of the top 3. Man City will prove again that money and good players are useless if U dont have a team.
so United and Chelsea will batle for first place.... Chelsea did a very good transfer with bringing Mourinho back, but I still put my money on Untited. With RvP becoming topscorer and voted best player of the PL.

Old man rant over
Old man rant agreed with.
Personally I can't imagine a more boring way of spending 90 minutes than watching football. But each to their own, I know I'm in a minority here.
