at stars its totally fine if its 5 min bb but 1500 usd final shoulda be 10-15 min bb or bigger starting stack soo ya are not forced to go all in with crap
Well, one advantage to the slow blind structure I have noticed, is that the final table is pretty much deep stacked. Almost any other freeroll final table it's just push or fold, since the blinds are so huge by that time.
With the full tilt BRM tournaments, you can still really play some poker on the final table. Yesterday I won one again, and almost everybody on the final table had a stack with M > 10.
I'm not sure this will happen with 8 min blinds, still that would be okay by me too...

So Fat Tony,....would you consider setting the blinds to 8 minutes...?
The mobsters have voted more than 3 to 1 for giving that a try! If it doesn't work out you can always set it back to 10 minutes,...but like I said,..I've played plenty of 8 minute blind tourneys and there's no difference in how things play out,...we just won't have to sit there for 3+ hours only to get knocked out for six cents...or get sit there for 2 1/2 hours only to get knocked out just before the bubble...
Sure,...the objective is to WIN the thing, or at least make a final table,...but it would be nice to get there in 3 to 3 1/2 hours instead of 5 hours or more...

It will shorten the time games take to finish for sure and will be more convenient for those willing to follow the leaderboard. Cause its not a secret, that the more game you play the better your chances are. And that takes down a big portion of your day. Grinding in ring games of course while you play the freerolls is a must.
