June 8, 2015 the US Supreme Court ordered the release of Albert Woodfox, who spent in solitary confinement in '43 for the murder of a security guard. Prosecutors challenged the decision of Louisiana - is too long bloody trail stretches over a former activist of the "Black Panthers". Will the Woodfox to freedom - to find out in the coming days. While its fate is decided, "to Lenta.ru" decided to recall than the famous "Panther." The organization, founded in 1966, contrary to the precepts of Martin Luther King fought for the rights of black people in arms. The fighting cells were representatives of various trends - from Maoists to black racists. They were handing out free lunches Negro children from poor families and shot white police officers.
