They are making a bet on him to take the WSOP. They probably figure that after the game PS will go strongly on the winner and wanted to make a move ahead of the game. Even if he doesn't take the title, he's still a nice contribution for them. I'm just not sure how much the big names contribute to the turnout on the poker sites.
Its a win win for both parties involved 888poker had 2 of there pros finish in 2nd and 3rd place in last years WSOP Main event wonder how much that deal was worth
