Calling Station and Fish Tips and help  +1
Looking for any advise, tips or hints on these players because I am having no luck against them whatsoever. They are beating my with crap cards 24/7 when they shouldnt, never fold even with the smallest pair smallest kicker and they call any size raise(Non bluffing/good cards) and they are still lucking out and hitting things.

Is it them, the site or is it me because I am totally confused and its starting to ruin my confidence and getting me extremely angry because these should be easy money to me but however well I play they are still hitting s**t and lucking out with everything.

Take this as example:

** St Andrews [Hold'em] (0.01|0.02 NL - Cash Game) Real Money

ladyryan sitting in seat 1 with £4.47
fezarooniy sitting in seat 2 with £2.00
colintofield sitting in seat 4 with £5.15
coralmumtobe sitting in seat 5 with £1.73
Phisix sitting in seat 6 with £4.31[Dealer]
ladyryan posted the small blind - £0.01
fezarooniy posted the big blind - £0.02

** Dealing cards to Phisix: Ah, Jh
colintofield folded
coralmumtobe called - £0.02
Phisix raised to £0.10
ladyryan called - £0.09
fezarooniy called - £0.08
coralmumtobe called - £0.08

** Dealing the flop: Ad, 2s, 5c
ladyryan bet - £0.20
fezarooniy raised to £0.60
coralmumtobe went all-in - £1.63
Phisix went all-in - £4.21
ladyryan folded
fezarooniy went all-in - £1.30

fezarooniy shows: 5h, As
coralmumtobe shows: 2d, 5d
Phisix shows: Ah, Jh

** Dealing the turn: 9c

** Dealing the river: Qc
fezarooniy wins £5.27 from the main pot

fezarooniy sitting in seat 3 with £5.69[Dealer]
colintofield sitting in seat 4 with £7.00
coralmumtobe sitting in seat 5 with £1.75
Phisix sitting in seat 6 with £3.14
colintofield posted the small blind - £0.01
Phisix posted the big blind - £0.02

** Dealing cards to Phisix: Ad, 10s
jdonegan called - £0.02
kk72 called - £0.02
fezarooniy folded
colintofield folded
Phisix bet - £0.08
jdonegan called - £0.08
kk72 folded

** Dealing the flop: 9d, 6h, 10d
Phisix bet - £0.23

They always limp then call everything and always hit things. I know its the lowest micros and this is constant but come on its constantly me getting fecked over. A great way to start my birthday with these idiots.

Thanks in advance to all replys and help.

I think you're too aggressive. In both cases you was wrong. I think you shouldn't play at cash tables with your AF. Try to play more tournaments.
Look at first example:
** Dealing the flop: Ad, 2s, 5c
ladyryan bet - £0.20
fezarooniy raised to £0.60
coralmumtobe went all-in - £1.63
Phisix went all-in - £4.21

Why you went all-in after your previous opponent's raise? You have just a pair. Maybe he has straght or 22 or 55 or AK-AQ. You should call but not reraise all-in. Be carefull. You are your worst enemy Blink

Hand one - there was bet, reraise, re-reraise and then you went all in with top pair, weak kicker.

Hand two - he outflopped you then let you bet into him

Both small raises pf

Bad play both times

In both scenarios opponents were just lucky to hit two pair. Try to keep the pot size small. Check the turn and make thin value bet on the river. ( like 1/3 pot )... If you DO hit monster like two pairs or TPTK with good draw, raise but I tend to play pairs even with top kicker more carefully...
You can even get value from second best pair on the river , if you check the turn... Depends on the board texture though. Good luck! Thumbs Up

I agree with this. They were telling you they had the better hand loud and clear. Your allin call/reraise is a bluff catcher at best.
To be fair I don't agree with them calling your pot sized bet pre flop; that should get expensive for them real soon, unless they feel they get great implied odds from you, when they flop something good (which they did in this case).
Maybe they noticed that you tend to overplay top pair?

You give two much value in a single pair. No matter if its an Ace or not with the best kicker.
Thats my opinion.
Never play poker on your birthday. You dont want the results from it to ruin your day Smile
Happy Birthday!

I pretty much agree with the IceLady and Mober on this one...!

I've looked at lots of seemingly bad beats you've posted up,...if you can really call them bad beats,....and I figure you just play WAY too loose......and a lot of the time I think you figure you can push people off the pot... I'm not saying that in a negative way to put you down,... You just need to tighten up a bit and play a little wiser...

I'm certainly no pro or even close,...but I've learned a few lessons playing the way you do at times...

....and HEY DUDE,.....Happy Birthday to ya...! Big Smile Thumbs Up

i agree with everyone above, with the AJ i would snap fold, it looks pretty but not worth losing stack over especially with poss str8 out there. again with A 10 not really a nice hand...sometimes it is ok to fold an A, i myself have actually learnt to fold AA...your bests were not really that bad of a beat.

for example, last night on zoom tables, i called an allin with AA and guy calls behind with 66, original bettor shows AA....gut with 66 rivers a 6..now thats a bad beat, very next hand i again get AA call an allin and licking my lips when i see JJ, river brings a J..i used to crack up, but now i try and tell my story to my now bored gf who doesnt wanna listen then go back to the tables...

once you master that you are on the road to becoming a better player, that is my advice and the only advice you need to learn Big Smile

people can't advise you on how to beat a player but they can advise you on how to handle your beats Thumbs Up once that is done the rest should fall into place, what you also have to remember is that variance hits ALL players and they are probably on some thread with a similar post as yours....GOODLUCK at the tables Thumbs Up

If you are playing micros you should never make a bluff, there are always people that will call and you'll lose...

Secondly on these levels with a good hand i would make bigger bets on spots where you have a hand, you can extract more value from them.

I think its because of that big loss I had with my old bank roll that I get aggressive when players start flat calling me for things even if I realize they probably have better than me.

Thanks for the replys though I appreciate them.

There is nothing wrong with being aggressive if you know you will get called, as long as you have the best hand

Just make sure you have the best hand and raise hard and you should be just fine at the microlimits

You can never be sure in micro limits.
You can get a blast one day and the next one all you need is a couple of calling stations,
that hit their crap to blow it all away.
You need to have the right players in your table Smile

To be fair everyone on that table except me a TAG were calling stations so I guess the ability for them to hit big with crap multiply by each person.
