So I noticed that somehow I won a ticket into the Galway iPad Freeroll on Full Tilt. Funny thing is,...is that I have NO idea how I won the entry ticket. I didn't play any tourneys to win a ticket,...it was just there.
Top 5 get an iPad. There were 531 entrants, and I figured THAT will be nearly impossible to win, but I'll play and give it my best shot...
Well to my surprise,...I actually made the final table!!!
...but that's as far as I got. Finished in 9th.... Boo-Hoooooooo.....
It came down to heads up with a player to my right who had been playing REALLY loose. I was 7th of 9 Big Stacks, so I went for it with my K 10...
He had A 2 off,....nobody hit,...he won with high card and had a bigger stack than me!
Oh well,..... My nerves are STILL shaking....
Was anybody else in it,....and how the heck were entry tickets given away...?

That thing ended 4 hours ago,...and I'm STILL really bummed about that loss! It was SO close, I could SMELL the plastic packaging...
I generally don't get upset about losing a poker game,...but this one will take a few days to get over!
Against my better judgement, I decided to play the hand instead of just let it go and let the others knock each other out. I had about 35,000 in chips,...another guy had about 28,000. The other 6 had between 120,000 and 350,000, so I thought I'd take on the loosy-goosy.
The REALL bummer about it, is that about 5 minutes after I went out, the game ended. When I wasn't looking there must have been about a 3 or 4 player showdown, and enough got knocked out to end the game.... I could have made it...

i think u made a deposit or something or just earned some FTP ,i wanted to participate on that to ....no ticket though nj with finnal table i know that those freerolls are player really tight (at the begining) or very loose. Gl next time

Demon... well done...sometimes it is frustrating when you make that do you dont you call, knowing that it is wiser not to, but nonetheless all the signs are that you should...and WHAM...youre out...only for the next couple of hands seeing everyone else collapse. That happened to me last night!
Thats POKER...pick yourself up and move onto the enxt game.

I think Tiger Axl is right...! I made a deposit of $10 to Full Tilt about a week or so ago. That's probably how I got the ticket. I looked all through Full Tilt's website to see if I could find out some info, but couldn't find ANY reference to Galway iPad tourneys...
Maybe I'll try another deposit and see what happens. It could be a monthly thing. If anybody else deposits and gets a ticket,...post up here if you did or not...
