Sounds good, i mean it would be an interesting read both for new players but even for more experienced one Thumbs Up

It's interesting that you actually made a summary of more articles so i guess they sum up more than one strategy.

You could take that more than one way...

How to play 'against' fish...OR

How to 'play the fish'... meaning, give folks the impression that you ARE a fish,...and when they bait the hook and figure they're gonna yank you into the boat,....you JUMP out of the water and eat them whole.... Big Smile< lol....

Just don't try and bluff them as they will call you down with middle or low pair thinking you are bluffing them or there hands are good. I had to learn that the hard way.

I find that most often the word "fish" is used, not to indicate a certain playing style, or lack of competence, but rather to exempt oneself from belonging to that group... Blink

You know,....I sort of agree with that statement!

I'll also add that that is a very arrogant thing to say about other players. Like somebody has to have an awfully fat head and a high opinion of themselves to think that they can 'lure' somebody into doing something.

Some folks play really bad and get themselves into all kinds of trouble,...but I'm sure it's their own doing and not somebody elses... Confused

I'm sorry if my article is offensive to some people.
It's not my intention at all of accusing some players of being a "fish".

It's just a common poker term to mark those playing styles as fishy.
Everybody in poker makes mistakes, me to Sad
I just don't want to make too much of them Blink

So once more :
I just wanted to share the summary of the articles on exploiting "fish" but
the main raison is of course : collecting some MOB points

Hope to see you at part 2

G'day Superpokefa

Well you can also learn the concepts better by writhing them out in summery for your fellow mobsters. You will be reinforcing the lessons you learned through your personal creative process.
Good for you and helpful to others.
Keep up the good work.

SUPERPOKEFA...This will make for interesting reading and at last something of a kinda poker strategy post/thread to read through, learn from and make comment about and then Mobsters can truly earn their mobpoints rather than posting drivel about drivel...which happens from time to time.

I'm sure no one took offense... For that you need to think of yourself as being a fish, and few people do (just like everyone thinks he's a better than average driver).

Of course my comment was just a conceited attempt of excluding myself, from both the "fishes"-group, as well as the group that calls other people "fish", in order to not be thought of as a "fish" themselves...

I fully expected someone to call me on that... Big Smile

G'day mates

Well for the record.
I want everyone on the tables I play to think I am a total fish.
I do not show my VIP level on PStars at all any more.
I have also dropped down to levels on the rounder tables.
Hope this helps me in my new bankroll building quest Smile [shameless blog thread plug] Big Smile

be cool
