I see that some members noted here that Party Poker changed software. I also see an add here saying about achievements. It looks like a tutorial from online games to me.

Do these award some kind of bonuses?
They are not tutorials, but a means to get people to play different games. When you complete a mission/achievement, you'll get a prize in the form of a freeroll ticket, like the $500 daily giveaway.
I've seen this kind of "merit badge" element before in iPhone playmoney poker apps. I suppose it gets people playing more than they otherwise would, just to complete some achievement or mission.

yea ,partypoker ''changed'' the style .......neah jsut the color ,in past was a mixture of green & white now is somme...glass white with some orange ...still they have lot of bugs or is not totaly fixed yet . I entered 1 h ago now no service....they softwere alwais had some problems
yeah lot of bugs in his new soft..party poker still have a lot of cleaning to do...I cannot access their software this morning....also cannot play thru the browser...

I just went to try the new software with an old account I had, I didn't remember password so they sent me the link to set a new one but when I click the confirm button it says i misstyped the verification code although there is no verification code to put it on the screen. Help please

I tried to download their program before and it didn't work. Their support told me to download some other browser like Google Chrome or some other one that's not coming to mind right now...
I just said screw it! Why would they make it hard for someone to download their stuff...?
Party Poker has better free rolls if you play for real money than they did before btw been waiting 9 days now for deposit from BRM is it normal too take this long

HELLO Not too bad still have some bugs to sort out but the mission thing will probably make people play more The software is OK but I liked the old icon more

The other one was probably Firefox. Since switching to Chrome from IE find chrome much better than IE. It'll take some getting used to, once past thay you're off to the races.

I cant play there any more, so cant help you with that. There are a few browsers out there. Im pretty sure it will work with at least one of them. In the past had no problem with Chrome and Party Poker. Cant tell about it now.
Like rbdflyboy said, most probably the other one is Mozilla firefox. If it doesnt work with any of these (Chrome and IE) then the problem lies in your computer.
