G'day mates
Well just played another very long 30 minute session. Had to stop again because of the damn migraine headache I have splitting my skull in half. It is going to be a really long day if I must take 30 minutes breaks after every 30 mini session. well the good news is that with solid play I just increased my bankroll up to $22.01 USD LOL a messly 10% increase makes me happy LOL I might try to take a nap. I might even feel better when I get up later and be able to play a proper grind session. Be cool mates

Well to be honest on my desktop with the larger monitor I have played as many as 24 tables at once. Oh the laptop I am using it runs into problems when I try to play more than 6 tables. When I first started playing online poker 1 table was plenty but then over time once I got used to the software and such I added a second and then once I was comfortable with two I added two more. When I was fine playing four I tried 6 and so it went. I just kept adding tables onto my large monitor screen until I decided I had enough tables on the go to grind away. Now however I am very very comfortable with up to 12 tables. So playing the 6 on the laptop is no worries for me at all. be cool

A profit of £5 a day is good enough for me(Usually as I only play a few small sessions) but sometimes you can win a little, win nothing, loss money and sometimes even win more than expected. It depends on a few things.
My thoughts are as long as I have money in my account still I can keep on making profit and jeep trying, regardless of how much I make. As Tesco says:

Thank you for the kind words of encouragement. Just played another grind session and despite losing a $3.50 SnG I am happy with my total. It was a harry session in which I had some good moves hold up and get paid off. Thank God they did because I was hit by two bad beats which both cost me a full buy in.
My new current Bankroll is now $24.49
It is slowly climbing upward again. The idiot morons on the 0.01/0.02 Nl tables are total maniacs. Makes it hard to play good solid poker at times. Playing a Tight Aggressive Game is the only way to improve my overall odds to win cash. over the long haul my skills should win out over their luck right. I mean luck does run out eventually Well until next time be cool

Exactly. It's just variance and sooner or later your better play/skills will make you run hot against these idiot players. Just keep grinding and soon you will be at $50.

It was another roller coaster session session in which I had some good moves hold up and get paid off. I once again had some unreal bad beat suckouts which cost me a few entire buy ins. Did not tilt however just laughed at the idiots for the crap bad play and reloaded my roll on the table. Guess who doubled through the idiot moron a little later Yep it was me.
My new current Bankroll is now $26.80
that is another increase today was a day without a single losing session
be cool mates

Well here is an update. Last night I was in total agony, My back and knee were both in full blow flux and spasms. It was so bad at 1 am that I took both my Tylenol #3 with codeine, and a Hydromorphone tablet. Well some time after 2:30 I felt much better but could not sleep. Like an idiot I decide well if I can not sleep I might as well play some poker and have some fun. Note I said have some fun, NOT work at grinding. So I played 4 SnG's and did not cash in any of them, played several Mtt's and did not cash in any of them either, Then I went to the zoom tables and Oh My F'in God I hate the zoom format it is a total rip off !!! Long story short. I started play around 2:30 am i think, at 5:15 am I was down to $ 12.06 USD left in my bankroll. So I started at 2:30 with $26.80 and stopped at 5:15 with a measly $12.06
Get up at 9:30 am very upset with myself and eat some food while I wake up. Start grinding the 0.01/0.02 NL tables again to undo the damage from last nights fun. Just taking a little break after 2 hours of true grinding, playing my "A" game.
Current Bankroll is now $19.27 So up + $7.21 for today's first grind session
Learn from my stupidity my friends, just playing poker to have fun and splash chips around for fun can truly hurt your bankroll. We all must play with a proper mindset if we want to do well and build our bankrolls up into the sky. Best wishes to you all Be cool

I would stay away from those Zoom type tables mate as the variance seems to be very high and I always seem to lose on them too. Just stick to grinding the lower limits for now and maybe a MTT once a day or too to break up the grind. You still have plenty of bank roll too so good luck.

G'day mates Well I just had a negative session. Talk about getting anal raped without lubrication. My Ace high flush got beat when the river filled his st8 flush. I just lost cash on that all in move, also had my pocket Aces cracked by his pocket Aces when 5 hearts hit the board. What the hell is a man supposed to do in those situations.
New bankroll is now $15.04
I am taking a break now as I think I might be on tilt. Will update tomorrow best wishes be cool

Well Ronin
Keep up playing your a game.... that will pay off on the long term...I do not have to tell you that bad beats are part of the game.
I also think you better stay away from Zoom tables .... just look to your resulst why ...
I personnally play fast poker at Dafa ... and can play it profitable as it is possible there to leave the table and re-enter (so I start with 1 $ and when I am up to 1.5$ I leave and re-enter with 1$)
strategy : - always do a standard raise when you get ino a pot (3 BB) - only 3-bet if you have AA,KK,AK - make notes of players (there are a lot of regulars) - always raise when your in late position and there was no action. (stealing blinds is very important to play profitable)

lmafao now Ronin- be a wise cunt and read the title of this thread: Ronin's Bankroll Management Challenge...forget the fun part of poker, also forget the "extra pleasures", such as being anal raped without lubrication...stick to your rules and do the raping yourself instead
gl, i'm sure u have the skill to come back even stronger

Pochui my man it is 8:15 am here local time and I find myself on BRM to help to wake up. You have already made me laugh amigo. I am trying yo allow myself some time to wakeup before I start grinding today. Been doing a great deal of thinking lately about my life and what I want to do. Decided to once again make a go at poker as a semi-professional poker player. It is going to be an interesting time in 2014. best wishes to you all. be cool

I have just hide your post because I think it was a major breach of the BRM site rules. You posted a personal invite code to 888poker in what appeared to be an affiliate invite code promotion. If I am correct that means anyone who was to click the promo link and sign up would be counted as a member which would earn you a small % of any rake through the affiliate program. I think I have also seen these exact types of postings on the 2+2 forum before, and people were banned from the site for doing it.
I do not want you to think I am trying to do things behind your back for no reason.
So I am telling you that, I have reported your post and affiliate action link to Tony the BRM administrator. This is to protect BRM from any possible future problems which could occur for them, if they allow other forum posts like yours to go unchecked. I know that on 2+2 it was really seen as a big problem, and was looked at extremely negatively. There was even a concern about legal issues. I do NOT want BRM to have any problems with this type of thing in the future. I feel for the sake of this community, I had absolutely no choice but to jump all over this for everyone's future best interest. I deeply apologize to both you, and Tony, if i am incorrect, but I feel it is better to error on the side of extreme caution when it comes to the protection of the forum community of BRM.
Hope I have not offended any of my fellow mobsters. best wishes to all be cool

It's a blog so we demand at least a daily update. Looks like it's going to be a while before I get near or pass your bankroll. First one to 100 by Xmas wins a super model!

Dammit man I am only on £17.65 at the moment. Still £10 behind you. I am going to have to get my fishing line out and get some big bites. Slow and steady wins the race.
