What the hell is going on today. I can not seem to win anything. Getting decent cards but they just keep losing. In a downswing, nothing is working for me today. Going to play a 180 SnG to see if that makes a difference if I lose that to then I am just stopping for the day and eating the major lose until tomorrow. best wishes to you all be cool
Ronin
------------ Update
Well I am on total tilt. To hell with pokerstars until tomorrow at least.
Current bankroll is now $28.10
It was unbelievable the BS that was happening. Not even going to go into it farther. It was like someone flicked a switch and I just kept losing non stop. Did not matter how favored I was to win by the river I lost. Best wishes to you all tomorrow is a new day. be cool

You recognized that you should stop and you did, which overall will make you a winner.

Exactly Minimizing losses also plays a big part in the overall winrate .. Even if you crush your enemies when playing your A-game you could still be a loser if you get on a crazy tilt every now and then and spew away all your winnigs ..

Thank you for your support I will be having a fresh go at the tables a little later. Will do an update at that time. Do not know what the problem was but I did figure out it tilted me. Glad I had the brains and discipline to stop playing when I did. I might have gone broke other wise. best wishes to you all be cool

G'day mates
Well I just finished another session and it is now the third stright day of BS. I have done nothing but lose money since Friday the 13th. I will take a break for an hour to make some food and relax some. When I go back at it I plan on switching things up a bit. I am going to play on the 0.01/0.02 Euro tables instead of the US$ tables. perhaps the change will resit whatever switch got flipped.
my current bankroll is now $8.78
It has been a deep 3 day long downswing but I will turn it around again. be cool mates Ronin

Feeling for you mate, especially as mine lasted quite long through a whole month, but it is different for everyone. On the upside you still have bankroll left and you are not busto just stick to the lowest stake and get back to your winning ways.

You are absolutely correct as to how I should proceed. The next 90 minutes will tell the tale. I broke the rules and went into a $7 fifty/50 SnG. Not looking good right now be we shall see. Will update later. best wishes be cool

I finished the SnG in the money and made $7.86 of profit. Time to take my head out of my a$$ now and go back to proper bankroll management. Going to do a grind session of 0.01/0.02 NL be cool

That was a stupid thing to do to put 90% of your bankroll on that SNG, but luckily you doubled up. Stick to BRM now bud and 0.01/0.02nl tables and you should start flying again. GL!

Well as I proposed before
I would gladly give you a small BR and I am almost sue some others here would also be glad to stake you a bit. For me its simple, I almost have 5000 mobpoints and I could send them over to you.
I am convinced you re a winning player as long as you stick to the rules. I only play poker a few hours a week (at low stakes) and my pokerskills are not that good (I play a little better than break-even). But I just play for fun.
Would be glad to help you and maybe it could be profitable for me too.

Thank you for your kind offer. I too currently have over 5000 mob points. I have been in the middle of a major downswing. I Have lost hand after hand to river suck outs lately. I did go on a little tilt last night and tried to chase the losses by stepping up to the 0.10/0.25 NL tables. I broke the rules and it did go badly, I did get the money in good but the guy sucked out a flush when he hit a runner runner. Yes I went on tilt. Yes I broke the rules. Yes I will now need to pay for it.
No I do not plan to accept you incredible offer of kindness. I am not looking for good people to give me charity. There are already enough of them scumbags asking for money on the forums. My intention in this forum is to show people that I am NOT perfect but I can still make money playing poker and so can they. I want to educate others about just how important proper bankroll management really is to staying in the game. Honestly, some of the things which I have done was on purpose, to show how breaking the rules can and often does hurt a persons bankroll. I am leading by example by both showing what, & what not to do. It is now time for me to stop screwing around and play my "A" for awhile to completely rebuild my bankroll and move up through the ranks. It is going to be one hell of a ride from now on mate best wishes to you. merry Xmas be cool
It is time for me to go to work.

well my offer was not intended as charity
I made it because :
- I will never make huge amouts of profit by playing poker (I know that and thats also important) - I have almost 5000 points and have no plans with them - I have faith in your pokerskills and see it as a little investment (I like reading your posts, so that s one thing I would get back) - I am actually about 75 % sure I ll get my money back from you with some profit as long as you stick to your rules
So just to say my offer still stands and
for others I am not looking for fortune hunters... so no I am not giving anything to people who are begging for it as it will make begging profitable.

Well you are one of several people who have offered to help stake me over the last couple months. It might be interesting to do a staking run for a set period of time on a poker site. I do have some points and cash to use to do an immediate bankroll boaster. Perhaps I should do what was suggested and offer to sell shares in new dark horse stake run. I could call it,
"Ronin's Renegade Dark Horse Run"
What do you think of the title? The only question really is, are all the people still interested. If I was to do it it would need to be from a specific start date to a specific end date. The 2nd question would be how much to ask for each share. I can immediately deposit and buy $100 worth of shares myself. Was thinking about doing the $100 deposit in the new year and starting 2014 off with that bankroll. Well what do you think? best wishes be cool

Well perhaps we should let the members who want to buy into the horse decide on what to call it then. I do not know if you are interested puchui, but you and I have already had a good experience together. What do you think the shares should cost? be cool

i think i'll skip this time, u know there's a lot brewing up: x-ma, new year...lots of "opportunities" to spend a fortune on alcohol...i think i will drink away my roll inside out...but i'm sure you will get this project running and do really well in terms of profit. no one doubts your abilities on the tables.

I hear ya about taking a break. I did do just that for the last few hours I have just be relaxing. Watch a movie and had something to eat. Just completely stayed away from the poker stuff. not even sure if I will play any more till tomorrow. Yes I am still in a down swing but it seems to be slowing now. Embarrassed to admit to my current bankroll. However, In the spirit on honesty, it is now sitting at $ 6.67 USD I am not worried I will turn it around. best wishes to you all. be cool

It's manageable mate. I was on my last £4 and now its at £55 so believe in yourself and start climbing. You still have a bankroll after days of downswing so that is still a plus. GL mate.

Well you can ount me in Ronin
Normally I reach the 5000 mobpoints next week so I can send them over then. Hopefully they payout between X-mas and newyear
Maybe you should start a new thread with a poll to look for investors.
Maybe it s also a better ideea to make the shares low in value, this would mean that you can buy 1 share for 10 d and for those who want to spend more they can buy 5 shares.
