G'day mates
Well day 1 of the challenge was a true test of my resolze to play within the rules. I had a very bad start to the challenge. There was a point when I was down $12.78 I took a full 1 hour break before going back at it. Day 1 Down - $2.36 US

yeah tomorrow is always a better day, i just wonder why it's not on the calendar: monday, tuesday, tomorrow, wednesday etc. i'm sure you will have a great overall result Ronin, just avoid playing against ? ea Kulek - guy with the small yellow box next to his name...he can do a lot of harm to your bankroll (and can see your underwear too...not sexy at all )

Day 2 of the challenge left me down just $0.67 US Day 3 Of the challenge and I finished up $1.18 US
Well it is going to be the end of day 3 unless I somehow get motivated in the next 4.5 hours to play another session. I highly doubt that is going to happen as I have a migraine and I just do not feel like play today at all. Tomorrow starts at midnight so maybe I will take a nap and get up later and got at it then. That would allow me to get a real good jump on day 4. Be cool mates

Well take the time you need Ronin and keep in mind it is better to rest or take a break than playing when your not 100 % topfit. Only play when you think you are able play your a game.

No worries mate. I have not gotten off to the type of start I wanted too but I have been holding my own. There were a few bad suck outs in the beginning but I have stayed calm and played through them without going on tilt. There was a point when I was down $12.78 on day 1 but now on day 4 am currently up Will update later as I will be grinding out another session toninght. Hoping today keeps moving us forward. be cool

Nice Ronin! Keep grinding!!!
I wonder if you will post some goals for your current challenge.
I mean, you want to make some profit at NL2 or may be to get 30-50-100 buys of NL5 before taking a shot there.
Let us know if you have set up some goals already. Will you be posting as an official BRM blogger too???? I saw some posts yesterday from other bloggers.

Well day 4 is now over and it has been a roller coaster ride, and now that it is over, I am up once again up from the start of the challenge. I know some of you want to know what my current bankroll is, and although many consider giving out that type of information is fine, I feel that for the sake of this challenge, I will only give out the exact bankroll from this point on if, the other person in the stake agrees it is ok for me to do so. He can send me a private email if he wants too. going to relax now for a while since I just finished a 2 hour grind

Well If I had started with a $100 bankroll you would be right. I did not start with a $100 bankroll however it was more because my staking partner paid his portion in Euro dollars so it got converted in more money when it was turned into US currency. I then matched the higher amount equally to keep things fair. This gave me a larger starting bankroll making it easier to move up into higher limits and larger level Mtt's without jeapordizing proper bankroll management be cool

Wow what a day I have had today. It is now after 8 pm local time and I have not played any poker today. It would have been against rule number 1. Had many pain meds today. hope tomorrow I awake feeling much better. Tomorrow will count as day 5 of the challenge I guess the end dat will be free floating. It will be a 60 game day challenge be cool

Update time
G'day mates
Hope your day is going better then mine. I took a shot at moving up levels and lost 3 all-ins in a row. The first 2 loses was BS. I was hugely favoured to win but lost to a BS gut shot st8 draw on the river, and once to a runner runner boat. The 3rd loss I was out played in my opinion, I should have seen that one coming. took an immediate break thinking I might be on tilt. down 3 full buy ins at $12.50 each. going to drop back down to the 0.01/0.02 NL tables again on my next session and start to rebuild again. be cool

Maybe you shouldnt have go up, in the first place Get some decent money first for playing lower limits, so when you go up you wont have to fall down each time to lower limits, to recover, but playing the same instead. Anyway good luck in your next sessions.

Now worries at all. We all know when you try to step up to a new level you need to have some good luck. It all went against me at the wrong time. I will get it back still got a healthy bankroll to work with. Just need to rebuild it back up again. be cool

No worries, I am climbing back up again slowly. I am confident I will rebuild from all the losses. Just going to take some time. Noticed something interesting though. the buy ins on PStars are are little messed up at the 0.02/0.05 NL level. It used to be $5 max but now it goes to $12.50 However the 0.05/0.10 NL Level max buy in is only $10 I think it will be better to skip the 0.02/0.05 level entirely be cool

Hi Ronin!
I think you also have the option to play at deepstack table sat NL 10. Although the max buy-in is 12.5 at those tables, you could try to play with 100bb anyway if you do not feel comfortable playing with deepstack.
How many hands are u playing per day??? Keep grinding man! Gl!

Well to be honest I have not been grinding anywhere near as much as i should be. The truth is I have not been feeling well. Two things have been holding me back my constant pain which needs to be regulated with medication and I have a damned winters flu. Have not been playing to keep from losing while I am sick. Feeling better this afternoon though so hopefully tomorrow I will be able to go all out and grind out the hands for a decent amount of time. be cool

Posted by RoninHarper: I have a damned winters flu.
I just finished getting over the flu, and considering your health issues do not take this flu bug lightly. I had a fever for three days, and then after that for two more days I felt woozy, as if I had drunk a half a litre of wine. After that, my lung capacity came back slowly over the following two weeks. I realized this on the weekends when I would play one on one basketball against my son and was really gasping for breath. Take care and get well.
