Thank you very much for the kind words. I do hope people actually get something out of this challenge. I know some people have misunderstood it. I want to clarify what the true challenge is here. It is not about making millions of dollars, it is about not going bust. best wishes to you all

So the other night I lost $60 of my bankroll because I was playing 6 Sng's when my internet went out for an hour. When the damn internet came back up I had been blinded out of all the Sng's. 3 x $15 and 3 x $7 I was very upset. Rogers was just here and replaced 3 out of 4 components to my system and everything else is working great now. What am I still having issues with? The F'ing internet went down again today for about an hour and a half. The internet is the only thing I care about and it is the reason I called them for service and they fixed everything else but, I am one very pissed of customer. be cool Ronin

I stopped giving poker lessons and acting as a personal poker trainer for one very basic reason. I got tired of working with idiots who thought they knew it all right from the start. There is an old saying that, "You can NOT teach a know it all nothing" Well that is true. Before a person can learn anything they MUST first realize that they do NOT know everything. It always amazed me how people wanted to pay me to teach them things and help them improve their game but whenever you tell them something or try to give them pointers or advice, they would say things like "well that would never work, or that can't be true, or oh I knew that, but I do NOT like to fold my blinds ever" It always amazed me how people would pay someone $100+ per hour of poker training and praise the trainer up to everyone but not listen to what they was being told. Often they would even do the opposite of what you proved to them was the proper move because they thought it would make them more tricky and harder to read when in true it just made them poorer. I got tired of dealing with IDIOTS! even for money. be cool
You're right. It is always and most people do not realize that poker is constantly evolving and if the person does not develop with it, behind it and has a chance to be successful. Btw. I follow your challenge and good luck! Inspiration for me, maybe I will even get me where you are!

dealing with idiots for money you say...wait a sec that reminds me of sth...oh right they are also known as customers i wonder why the fcuk those idiots decided to hire a coach in the first place, considering that they knew everything right from the start...still teaching an idiot how to play poker and getting paid for that sounds like easy money to me...it's not like you give a sh1t whether his play is getting any better...just take his money and move on (or "re-invest" it at the tables)

You might be right pochui but my problem is that I took it personally when my students did not improve their poker game play. I took it to mean that I was not doing my job as a coach and trainer by making them better, stronger, more profitable players. I did have one student who did very well though and he still makes money playing poker I am prowd of him. be cool

I will be taking the rest of this month off from playing poker. I have suffered some major set backs which have me really feeling like chit. Going to take a small break. Get over tilt then I will start playing again. My Silver Star VIP level is good until April 30th so it should be fine. be cool

Hello Mates
I busted my bankroll on Saturday. I received a phone call from my Mother on Saturday. She was calling to tell me that an old family friend named Tony committed suicide in a delta hotel room on Friday. Tony stood up for my brother at his wedding and I always liked him. One hour after getting the news I had gone through my entire bankroll. This does NOT end the bankroll challenge. I am going to do a rebuy in a few days once I get my head together again and go to the damned funeral and such. I went Bust because I broke all the basic rules of bankroll management. I played when I was very upset, I was on tilt, I was play beyond my bankroll level, put all my money into play on a single table, and general just did not give a damn in my grief I was playing way to many hands and just NOT playing good poker at all. My partner has my apologies and when I buy back in he will still be my partner. I will rebuild it all I swear it. Just give me a few days to take my head out of my dumb a$$ be cool
