The plan is a simple one. The challenge will run for 8 weeks, Monday - Friday.
I am going to try to play 1000-2000 hands a day.
Going to try and maintain a minimum buy in level of 40 buy ins for whatever current base level I am playing on at any given time.
Will take a two table shots at moving up in stakes whenever I have my 40 buyins + 4 buying for the next higher level. During the shot upward move I will only play two table maximum and will have the auto rebuy feature turned off. If I lose the 2 attempted buyin then I go back to playing the lower limit until I once again build back up to at least 40 + 4 buyins again then repeat.
Once I have 40 full buy ins for the new upper level it will become my new base line level.
Yes I will also play so small Mtt's but the buy ins will be a 1-5 ratio. that means with a $100 bankroll I can play in a $1 buy in tournament with a $5 stop lose in place, so I will allow myself to lose no more then 5% of my total bankroll on any given day of play in mtt's.

Looks interesting, good luck Ronin, are you going to post every day on how your doing. maybe for this challenge you should start a new thread or blog.this might make it easier for your fellow mobbits to follow, since this one is for your bank roll management. well wish you good luck l

Well it is time for an update. Wednesday of week 1 proved to be interesting. I wish I had stopped just 5 minutes sooner then I did it would have saved me two buy ins and allowed me to finish the day in profit. I did not and as a result to a two buy in hit just before stopping for the day. So instead of a profit for the day I posted a lost of - $2.50 Thursday will be a better day. be cool

Wow day 4 for week 1 went fantastic!
I went on a heater and let it run out for as long as I could, it went on for nine hours. Then my mind was just to completely fatigued to continue any longer. It was a Great run! I won back everything I lost over the last week. So here is what happened
I started the day down about $15 and now after 9 hours of grinding I have won 40 buyin's. Up $84 in one long rounder session
New current Bankroll is now over $160 US
Do not even need to take a shot to move up I got enough to just move up and still maintain my 40 buy in interval. Day 4 has been won very good day

Glad to see you had a good day and your running with a profit, keep up the good work Ronin, I can see why you getting a bit fatigued, 9 hrs is a long time. Take a rest , clear your head and start again. best of luck.

No worries, I plan on getting some rest to day and it will be a few more hours before I play any poker today on day five. It feels damned good to know that when needed I can still sit down and grind away profitably for many hours. I hope to have many more days like Thursday. best wishes to you. be cool

Week Two started out well but it turn into a total disaster. I seemed to walk into a four day long down swing where nothing went my way. It seems like no matter what I started with the flop went totally against me. I lost every coin flip too it seemed. I dropped $100 in four days. Current bankroll is about $100 So I am basicly back to even. Week three must get better. be cool

I have even managed to make a profit of 37 buyin's. Current bankroll is above $170 US So I am up about $75 now Week four will be better. be cool
