Hi guys
Ive been playing 888poker tournaments for a while and every time i play with pair QQ i always seem to lose 9 times out if 10 ten, some people on the site say they never win, i lost to 2 trips and sometimes think there cursed for me.

I consider QQ to be a lot like JJ, and I like to raise both of them preflop quite stiffly, and then see what happens. If you get a big reraise, you might be in a hand against bigger pockets. If you get called and the flop brings overs you can continue to bet but be aware that someone with AKs might have called and hit top pair/top kicker, and will be calling your c-bets. Your own playing style and feel for your opponents will be crucial once you get postflop, and anything can happen from there. GL

I find JJ and QQ to be quite dangerous against me when I have them because you can over play them, especially if after a massive pre flop raise and a K or A come out.

You have to know when to hold them, and when to fold them.

I never let anyone see a cheap flop when having QQ. I like to raise big to scare off all the A+rag limpers/callers out there. If there's a raise before it's a bit different.. i don't like to fold them but i will, depending on my opponent, the size of the bet and my position at the table. I do try too many times to at least see the flop with them so it's a constant battle in my head to do it and at the same time not to get committed.
lately the only cards i still feel comfeterable going all in with is AA and yesterday two times all in preflop first i call in a hyper 6 peeps1,50$ sng i show AA he show i think it was 84 os xD hits a straiht on the turn xD second time i go all in with AA same type of tourney guy calls with j8 clubs hits flush on the river so yeah kinda sucks better slowplay those pockets i gues xD

Ihave been thinking about make na account in 888, what are you guys thouhts about the tournments or the sngs there???? How many regulars hey have in the site???

I have had some strange experiences with Q's on 888....tonite I actually won a big hand with them, but last week every time a Q came on the board, it made someones hand that I was playing against which beat me!

It shouldn't matter WHAT site you play queens or poker on for that matter,....as long as it's a reputable site!
QQ for me is a shove EVERY time regardless of any factors. To me they are iffy cards, and the less players you have to play them against, the better. Might as well push as many folks out of the hand as far as I'm concerned and takes your chances...

And then they have KK or AA like someone else always has when you have pocket pairs.

when i first played on 888 i felt the same ,i even belived that Uk&aussies are favorized but later i realized that i wasn t use to it(gameplay,action ...much more different then ps or FT) .eventually i ve ended wining much more then loosing ,dont lose u re hope just get to use to it & u ll be fine ,somedays u have badluck don t forget PS :even on 888 russians are lucky gamblers like on the others platforms

I played that 1 cent qualifier on 888Poker too the 50000 free roll got dealt QQ raised 4 times the big blind got re raised all-in by QJ called and lost the hand too 4 of kind Jacks I think I was 80 percent favourite pre-flop I still managed too qualify for the free roll its very hard too get away from a strong hand like that pre-flop
