G'day mates
Well I have decided to give poker tracker 4 a try and downloaded the 30 day trial version. I have installed it but it does not seem to work. Installed the latest version of PostgreSQL 9.3 (i think) The latest version however will not work. Poker Tracker 4 say it can not work with any version of 9.1 or higher. My problem now is that I can not seem to get the damn thing to uninstall so that I can install a lower version number. Anyone now how to get this HUD to work.

Posted by noonlion: I hope you sort it out, I remember HEM gave me problems with postgres etc when I bought it.
What stakes you play?
I found it didn't help me at all really, especially low stakes, even on MTT. Bit of a distraction.

Well I have now just given up on getting any HUD to work. Removed the damn thing from my laptop. I managed to go in and manually remove most of the postgreSQL. Tried to install a lower version and it is detecting something from the higher version somewhere and asking me for it administrator password. I typed it in and it says it is the wrong password. I know the damn password which I used and I even marked it down to make sure I did not forget it. Trying to reinstall the newer version just gave me an error and stopped trying to install. Never going to be able to run a HUD on this laptop now because they all need PostgreSQL. So I will just keep playing without it. Good luck to you all at the tables.

Seriously unless ur medium stakes and up say, $1/2 and up on cash or large stakes buyins on MTT then I can't see the need but I get the frsutartion at setting it all up, the postgres s**t is a pain until you get things up and running.

Ronin there are a few programs over the net (and some of them are free) that can help you uninstall any programs you have problems with or are locked. Another way to do so is right click on the shortcut in your desktop find the destination folder and then delete it. After that you will need to perform a clean up in the registry section. ccleaner, is a good freeware for that.

have to agree here with noonlion- wouldn't want to waste my time installing fcuking postgres, cockless or any other sh1t...really don't think one should go through all of this trouble to get up and running with a software which is not free...they should come with a 1 click installer imo

There are several utilities that claim to be able to cleanup bad uninstalls just search for "uninstall cleanup software", many are free. One of the best used to be RevoUninstaller but I just checked their site and they don't seem to have a free version anymore. They do however have a 30 day Trial offer and since you seem to be into 30 day trials you might want to try that. (just search for "revouninstaller" ).
