Has anybody seen this yet...? Now I've heard it all....lol... Jay Leno mentioned this on his show last night.
It's now legal to masturbate in public in Sweden....
I don't know about you Mobsters,...but I find it rather irritating to constantly be getting arrested for choking the chicken at the mall,...or driving in rush hour traffic,...at the park,...in the ladies underwear department at Wal*Mart,...etc... So I think I'll just pack up and move to Sweden where I won't get hassled ANY MORE...

1) A court in Sweden has handed done a rather novel ruling. The Södertörn District Court has declared that it is legal to masturbate in public so long as you are not “targeting” anyone in particular. Moreover, public prosecutor Olof Vrethammer says that he entirely supports the ruling.
The case concerns a 65-year-old man who dropped his shorts on a beach in Stockholm and started to masturbate in front of people. He was charged with assault.

2) A court in Sweden has ruled that a man who openly masturbated on a beach in Stockholm did not commit an offence because he was not “pleasuring himself towards a specific person”.
The 65-year-old man had been charged with sexual assault after he was seen on 6 June removing his shorts and masturbating near the water’s edge.
The district court of Södertörn issued a judgement in which it said that it “may be proven that the man exposed himself and masturbated on this occasion”, according to the Swedish English-language news website The Local.
Yet the court acquitted the man, and said the man had not committed an offence because he did not direct his activities towards a specific person.
And it appears that Sweden’s prosecution service will accept the ruling, with public prosecutor Olof Vrethammar telling the Mitti newspaper that he wasn't planning to appeal.
“For this to be a criminal offence it's required that the sexual molestation was directed towards one or more people. I think the court's judgement is reasonable,” he said.
When asked if it was now acceptable to masturbate in public if you don't direct it towards a specific individual the prosecutor said it was “okay”.
“The district court has made a judgement on this case. With that we can conclude that it is okay to masturbate on the beach.” Mr Verthammar added that acts of masturbation in public may still be regarded as “disorderly conduct”.

Well, what can I say? Ever since the Bergman-movie Sommaren med Monika in the 50:es I think it was, where this actress showed her tits, Sweden has been know for a liberal attitude towards sex.
One would just hope it wasn't 65-year old dudes (with dementia?) exploiting this, but also other segements of the demographic, so to speak...
Now I got to go and drop my pants on the beach, before winter comes.
Never happen here....lol...lmao....those little ol ladies would go off screaming into the nite about how traumatized they all are....lmao....and all the poor childern...and all the poor......????

Well I think that weither it is illegal or not it is just plain wrong to do that on a beach or anywhere were people might be able to see you and get really offended. The 65 year old dude should have been shot with a taser gun in order to make an example out of him. You ugly old farts be advised you pull this type of pudd on our beaches and you bitches a re getting tazered
haha It's funny how governements are all the same all over the planet: they waste time, energy and ressources on making/modifying stupid laws like this.

Haha, what the fack!? XD This is the first I hear of it and I live in Sweden. I would think that if this actually was true, it would have been more noticed and taken up in media quite a lot.
