AKs vs AggroDonk - RATED 18  +1
This is REPULSIVE.

This idiot swede krokodil333 somehow has a stack of 147k and had recently gone ai with some trash hands and suckedout.

I'm on BB with AKs and he again goes AI. What would you do? This is late stages, I'm in 4th and three spots off the final table.

Normally I'd have folded, figuring they are only risking their stack with AK+ usually a pp QQ+. But this guys a clown, so I thought f**k it, great spot to double up potentially, although I risked my tournament life.

Flop comes down blank, but gives him the flush draw, and yep you guessed it he rivered a heart flush holding Q10h. Aww crap! Aww crap! Aww crap! Aww crap! Aww crap! Aww crap! Aww crap! Aww crap! Aww crap!

I want to strangle this cocksucker. This has happened so many times at crucial stages it's not even funny now. FML.

Yeah you are right. The players here say the platform is rigged. That's happened to all players , and i agree with you that this is not funny . We are trying to reach the final table , as You wrote you have nice cards like AK's and nice time to double the chips and he got flushed or straight. I'm now at Bankrollmob Freeroll at Full Tilt Poker , and im curenlty 10-th and just playing on big hands like AK AQ AJ AT and any 8's up hand pair. I hope ill reach the final table about 60 players left. GL

Good luck.

It's not rigged, it's just terrible players making terrible decisions and getting rewarded.

Why get mad? You got the money in good, and it was an excellent spot to double up. You made the right decision, but that does not always work out. Only if there were many tiny stacks left, you might opt to wait for them to get busted.

Also I find that usually I like to be the one that shoves instead of calling someone else's shove; that way you get the fold equity working in your favor (especially important in these late stages, when the blinds and antes are big).

Just remember how you got there in the first place... To reach the final table you had lots of double ups against players of this type, and even, dare I say it, some suckouts too...

If all players were of equal ability, it would just be luck to reach this far into a tournament. Be thankful of so many of these unskilled players, that enable you to do better than average...

You should get mad (at yourself) when you call an allin with QQ against a player that only shoves the top 4% or something, not this...

Wise words.

It's mainly the heat of the moment, but getting donked has happened to me in the late stages 5 or 6 times now where they had no hand to play with at all and were plain stupid for putting anything into a pot.

I've calmed down a bit...but just got donked in a calling station FT. Hate those tables, no hand holds value unless it's KK+ on an AI, or even 3x raise.

Just deal with it man, you got in good with greater than 50 % equity you should win in the long term and the more you play you will see that it will tends to even out or if you are really unlucky you could go under ev forever I know somebody who does.

Just keep improving your game and put lots of volume, all this can be negated or mitigated if done. You wont be complaining when you are used to them and can grind them out!!

You say you lost just 5/6 times final table with those cards with good odd's ... put it another way i think i lost over 100 times with AA/ KK/ QQ starting hand .... not all in i learned my lesson after the first 20 times ...
When some one at the final table has good hand like AA/ KK / QQ .... in the other 8 players at the table are a 2-3 at least with AK/AQ/AT in hand ... when you go all in then most of them will fold... the chance for you to get what you need is slim to none .... on the other hand when he counters you he will do it with something that you say has no value (for you maybe ); first they have more chances more combinations then you ... second they know what you have and what to wait what to pay ... that's why most off the time you get called with "junk" cards ... in that situation they have bigger value.

Know how you feel.

Sometimes you just have to vent after this sort of thing happens. You should make yourself a placard like they had in the Father Ted TV program (don't know if you've seen it tho, being in Romania and all).

At least venting here is better than kicking the cat.

My favorite all time saying is: SH!T HAPPENS

It is maddening though.... Been there....done that...! Confused

The one thing I've learned to expect is this game at the lower levels is FULL of idiots....

...but I will quote Daniel Negraneau..... "Ace King is NOT a hand"

I feel ya,.... I got donked shoving my AA and KK near the bubble last week. Real bummer after playing for 2 hours for NOTHING Confused

These things happen in freerolls.
Happened to me to yesterday.
Calling an All in from a Loose Agressive player.
An other player also goes AI. The first player shows A3o so my read on this player was correct.
The other player shows QJo so he was behind my hand.
I hit nothing and the QJo wins the pot.

I have learned to live with this gameplay.
If you make a good decision you will be a winner in the long run.
Ace King may not be a hand, but QJ is neither
