I bet Phil is loving this WSOPE cos the fields are that much smaller giving him great chances to extend his bracelet lead.
Plenty of top pros final tabling.

Yeah small fields are great for those "hall of famers", at this point I don't think money is the main motivation for some of the well-known pros, its fame.

Good luck to them though, I still love seeing them play on TV ^^

Still with the small fields, there are a lots of well known poker players playing, meaning they are going for the fame, or they are just degenerate gamblers. Big Smile

Also for Jason Mercier, i want him to not cash any events because in a competition with my friend all of them have him. I have Barry G, Ivey and some I chose that did not participate in the event!!

Anyway good luck hope Ivey gets a win, he finished 10th in the other event! Sad

Vamooooooooooo Brazil, Ariel Celestino Bahia won Battle against Phil Helmutt, and now is running to final table, Event 5 2.200 NL Hold'em.
Congratz for him.

Not a big buy in on those.... It's something I could afford if I had the chance to play with those guys! Although,...by the time you payed for airfare, hotel, eats,...and various other expenses,...you could easily double the buy in for the secondary event...

There's a WSOP tourney from Las Vegas earlier in the year being broadcast on TV right now,...one of the days from the event per week,.... At the start of the show there's a pic of Phil Helmuth in his earlier days celebrating what I think is his first bracelet. MAN was he skinny back then!!!

He's earned all that cash over the years and just sat around playing poker getting FAT.... Big Smile

It would be nice if Juha could take the PLO event, not sure about how many events he won but i think he almost participated to all, i mean you clearly see that he loves the poker game and thats always a big thumbs up for him.

Events 5 should be awesome to watch since PH is playing lol
