Okey thank you everyone for your guesses!
So .. my reasoning during the hand: Folds to button. BTN limps, this looks really weak and he seemed to be a bad player.. Stats say VPIP=31 but he could have even wider (or tighter,don't think so) range since the sample is only 13 hands.
Hero has A 6 I dont want to make a small raise with 18bb stack because BTN is likely to call and I'll be OOP. I could shove here and most likely pick up the pot preflop.
However I decide to complete the blind, I pay 0.5BB to see 3.9BB pot.
Then BB decides to raise.
BTN calls but again I believe he can be doing this with a bunch of crap so I'm not that worried about it.
There's already over 13bb in the pot and in BB's eyes both BTN and SB look super weak so I think he doesn't necessarily need a premium hand to raise and he could even fold some hands if I shoved the remaining 17bb so I go on and push.
I'm not very excited when BB goes all-in but atleast he's making the BTN fold so there's nice overlay in the pot..
So .. A6o and 43o Sick call by BB but I guess he was either really bad or just thought the odds are good enough.
What do you people think about my play ? I guess it's good but I'm still not sure about that, maybe it was a bit too loose.
And about that $1 .. I think xgcsnippy and HenryMinute had nice guesses but they only guessed one hand Also jovica you are scaringly good But you said you don't wan't the money. ( obviously you aren't interested in anything that's typed with less than 4 figures ) That's why I've decided to give the HUGE prize to Heskor, congrats, please tell me your PokerStars/FullTilt screenname if you wan't it

I did this for the fun of it but now on reflection...this is all poker advice so no personal offence
Risking your tournament life against a even worse looser bad player & bigger stack, oh my gosh your lucky he didn't suck-out with a str8 or flush. it was terrible play by both of you, A6os & 34os ...the state of play is so sick, a perfect example of why good players loose best hands at times..Correct play this was not, you gambled your stack! when it wasn't necessary with A6os ragz.
I would of told u too keep the $1 ur gonna need it, if you don't play smarter on the long run.. you sound thrilled of your win here, don't be ..it was extremely terrible donk/fish combo style player gambling, not methodical disciplined poker...from both of u!
if you learn something from this reply, it's not to diss you, but to help your game play..i poker coach many.. never do that vs a loose BIGGER STACK..unless u don't take the game serious??? but eh it's up-to you, but u did ask what we tho of your game play.. gl u gonna need it ...unless??? shocked

Yeah pretty weird plays, but atleast he had ace high so if his read is right he's in front (not by much but still it's not as bad as shoving 34o on the BB With only 17BB you have to commit your tournament life everytime you decide play a hand but you can still afford to wait for a decent hand so yeah A6o call+shove was pretty loose...

I checked this with ICMizer ... (cEV mode since this was before the bubble) and depending on the villains ranges I should be shoving anything between top 12% to ATC here.. also BB's betsizing looks suspicious(could mean strong hand or could mean he just want's to take the pot preflop, I went with the latter one)... and BTN's range could be capped here.. I dont think he's limping with premium hands even though PFR=0 .. its such a small sample ..so Im not worried about him at all...
The pot is already so big so I think if I have ANY fold equity then the shove is not that bad.. With such a small stack I'll have to start looking for spots to gamble soon..
But yeah I think this was a borderline situation.. I still have some time to wait for a better spot..
