I moved some money around to deposit $50, getting me 2 tickets. I played the first one this morning, and collected $30.08 in 15 minutes (it's a time restricted MTT, that ends after 3 levels, distributing the $100000 over all remaining players, according to stacksize.
The thing is, there were 4 people sitting out on my table, and the others had no clue, that it was basically just about pushing or folding, so they just gave away their limps and 3BB bets to the first one that shoved...
I believe it was the best hourly rate I've achieved so far, playing poker...

Wow, gratz for your nice and fast winnings. In Germany, we must deposit 250$ for five tickets. But for this nice 15 minutes payments, it was verry easy Money with a great winning rate. GL all mobsters for this extra bucks!

So as i read it we have different offers for different counties , i still didnt check my mail about pokerstars account , so i think it depends how much you deposit , you take tickets for example for depositing 50$ you can earn 1 ticket. Nipitiri3 i think you have the best offer , 80 $ 3 tickets its less then 50$ per ticket as in Germany so .... dont miss this offer.

Nice prize there marqis! My table was very similar to yours, also 4 guys sitting out and the occasional shove to steal blinds from the rest. Unfortunately when i went tried to make a steal shoving on the third level with A9 the guy that minimum raised before me still decided to call with his T7 and got a 7 on the flop Still have one more ticket hopefully the next one will go better for me.

ya marqis is know how you feel - just won a fiver myself, not a shabby return on a 15 min work, probably would consider becoming a regular grinder if i could manage anything close to this sort of return on a constant basis.

So with a $50 deposit, I got two freeroll tickets earning me $55.72, in just 30 minutes. That is more than the deposit itself. Who said freerolls are a waste of time?
Sounds like fun but i imagine that it must be a bingo fest and basically you do not need any poker skills at all, right?
Only a little skill; you must understand simple push or fold strategy, and putting pressure on the blinds. It surprised me that few seemed to grasp this, and were limping or betting 3BB only to have to fold to someone shoving pre flop.

I don't even look at nationalities, I suppose the difference between people within a nation, are too great, to make any kind of assumption about any one person from that nation, or even a statistical assumption based on nationality, but I might be wrong. I only wonder if the likelihood of collusion increases if there are people with the same nationality at a cash table...?

Hear hear. I think one should always be on the lookout for opportunities like this, as it is a form of rakeback. More than once this forum alerted me to such opportunities.

Because such promotion i allways keep 50-100$ on Skrill account. Today you make deposit and after few days you withdraw that money back if you dont want play there.

yeah have to agree with yblod here- similar promos do pop-up several times a year (on different sites, not only stars), so it's very useful to have a spare buck or two lying around. ya marqis is right too- these promos can be treated like a form of rakeback as well. though if you stick to playing just freerolls, you don't play a lot of rake do you in that case these promos a like plum from the sky...

Not worth it the top prize gets like 150 dollars and those that just barely made it got peanuts, cents actually, anyway I think there is still one left if you want to try your luck, there will always be somebody who will all in, because it is much better to get the 1st prize rather than peanuts, so going all in for the flip at the start is a good way.
Also about the promotion, if you deposit and try to withdraw without playing, it wont be allowed right?? I tried once but could not withdraw afterwards.

I should really learn to keep money on Skrill/Neteller at all times for this sick rakeback on PokerStars and othet platforms.
Still great to read that some of you made cashes though! At Stars the withdrawal policy is so easy, never experienced a block because I didn't generate enough rake or anything.

Withdrawing both the deposit as well as any winnings should be no problem (I didn't try). The only thing is you might be ineligible for some promotions in the near future, like Demo experienced, if you withdraw...
