Everytime I hit a set or a fullhouse on a flop EVERYTIME someone else gets a bigger one, and its not often I get sets either as players always have them against me. Am I just this unlucky or is it variance and MAYBE one day it will go my way?

Be more carful with the sets they are not the nuts looking at your opponents play I probably would of put them on 89 for the straight, they made a pretty strong play with that raise when the jack came and it would of been worth them calling the open ended on the flop , hitting a full house with a pocket pair is generally strong if your pair is bigger than the boarded pair, if not and you are getting action then they deffo have a set and its not that much harder for them to have made the higher full house.

Indeed, but with that raise he could have been on QQ-AA/AK. I guess it happens though so I wont dwell on it. I did make up for it earlier on as some guy tried limping with KK to trap me when I had 66 but I flopped a set so that did make up for it.
when i flop a set, i think damn im commited here, either win or lose... at least i used to think like that. proceed with caution always. u could have a straight flush 9-k, and still lose to the royal. nothing is certain
