I see the problem; the other guy got too many sixes, you should have folded when he hit trips. YW.

Yes, because I knew he called two raises with a Q6 and hit trips. Don't be a dim twat all your life.

Phisix stop whining. You post thread after thread of whining about bad beats. Suck it up and try to be a man. Everyone who plays poker has bad beats whether it is online or live. This is at least the 3rd one you have done today with the same bull chit about "oh poor me" Angry boo f'cking hoo.

I will tell you what you are doing wrong. You obviously suck at poker. Give it up. Maybe try plying bingp.

Then don't read or reply in the threads I make then, it is simple as that, but the last time I checked it was not against the rules. I guess constant beats make me suck at poker, yeah okay nice one. Thumbs Up

Don't worry I wont post any moaning threads anymore, but you carry on telling people they suck when they are having a bad time, its a good way to give people confidence. But if there is any problem with me then it is following BRM, the stakes below bore the crap out of me and are filled with even worse players.

The problem is simple: he was SOOOOOOTED and he hit a 6 on the flop... then another one on the turn Big Smile

I mean you know you didn't do anything wrong, right? Maybe if you shoved on the flop you would've won the hand but you wanted to be called... and you got called ^^ Value bets like this can be risky because they tend to suck in the bad players. But that's obviously exactly what you wanted, to be called by a smaller pair.

I understand jess' point. If you know you did everything right and lost anyways, then why do you even ask... Poker IS gambling, no matter how tight or how good you play. To win you need to be lucky too, not just good.

your mistake was betting out every round, play action took over and pot control was discarded, rem villain was in position and flat calling your out of position bets, danger signals CAUTION HERE

.A check/call on a paired board saves chip-stacks on long run.., u had no read here on villains play as he playedsick crap cards, and QQ is v good hand here but as we know ..but learn from it, poss fold to a Big raise on turn and river here ..ul really ..NEXT TIME!!! Diamond Sad

no idea why your opponent called before flop but after flop i dont think he did anything wrong i would do that play only at tourneys if i can afford to lose some not at cash tables Big Smile

I think (and I know I have said this before) that your problem is you believe you should win.

It is tell tale signs such as constant posts saying 'I know he had this' and 'I know he would do that'.
It is like you are arrogantly thinking 'you know what, I am a better player than you and so I will just bluster through'.

If you can't beat the small tables, you certainly won't beat the big tables.

Look at your stats, I bet you win lots of small pots but lose a couple of big ones which hurts your BR.

Preflop villain should have folded his Q6s after a cold 4bet.
After the flop his hand plays itself.

You did the right thing preflop but I think you should have made a bigger 4bet (2,6$), making the pot odds less interesting for villain.
Now he only has to put in 1,6$ for winning a pot of 3.3$.
With a bigger 4bet he might have folded his hand.

On the flop you have to cbet.
But after his call on the flop you should be suspicious, after all he called your 4bet.
I don't know if you had any reads on him but if someone calls a 4bet
than i would put him on JJ+ or AK, maybe 99-TT if he's an aggroplayer (not Q6s for sure).
AK would have folded on the turn i think so leaving only hands thats beat you.

But I know it's hard to loose a hand with an overpair against a hand that should have folded preflop.
If you want to have fun while playing poker you will have to learn with thos kind of things.
Otherwise you will get frustrated and making more mistakes than usual.

These are always tough situations, but after getting called i think you should have been more aggressive with your bets. But you definitely had some bad luck there, i dont think i would have played the hand a lot different.

Also you should look at a longer term to see how profitable you have been playing because everybody has got the bad runs, if you keep making the right decisions you will eventually play with profit!

Very unlucky here. But, it's a difficult situation; what i do, when I have a high pocket pair, (1010-AA) is raise a little pre flop, and if i dont improve, even with KK AA i proceed very cautiously. Nothing is guaranteed, and sure you are a favourite preflop, with 5 cards to come, anything can happen. So, if i want to take the pot down with 1010-AA, i make a huge bet preflop, maybe even all-in, just to win the hand. if i want to get sneaky, i would play as you played. but yeah, you must be careful and cant hope your pair holds out till the river.

Just because you get QQ doesn't mean you're going to win.
Yeah he sucked out, but your pre-flop re-raise was way to small (considering you're out of position, hes going to call you with a very wide range of hands and then you'll be vulnerable to making mistakes post-flop) and you didnt give him credit for anything after he called your pre-flop and post-flop bets. You need to learn to slow down when you're out of position, if you had bet harder pre-flop, or even check raised after the flop, I am almost certain you would have won that hand.
You got burned because you didnt pay attention to position, or your opponents, you just saw QQ and a J high board and felt like you deserved to win it.
If these kind of things keep happening to you, then it should become more and more clear that the fault is in your play, not your luck.
