I'm trying to help a buddy get an online bankroll started from nothing. Which FREE NO DEPOSIT sites offer the lowest stakes to grind? Are there still sites that offer .01/.02 FL?

If you talking about fixed limit, my recommendation is to join poker stars, they will have much traffic for the Fixed limit compare to other sites. I don't play on other sites much, but poker stars has the most players so finding table for FL should not be a problem.
For No limit texas every room should be fine, for other poker variants poker stars seems to be the norm. So you should tell your friend to join there.
Edit: Yes they have the 0.01/0.02 limit, it is the lowest limit on all sites!!

FL is where i started my roll years ago but he'll find his own way. I'm mostly just curious about the FL.
I thought some sites just don't cater to the micro-micro-stakes. In fact I'm on one right now where the lowest is .02/.04 for FL and NL? Don't get me wrong... 2c/4c is still micro enough but I thought I remembered some that have even higher minimum stakes. And Stars, while it's a very good suggestion for the future, it's not a no-deposit option for right now.
What about STTs and SNG MTTs? Are there some sites that offer more at the micro-mico-stakes levels than others?
